Outgoing 4.6 From VJB Secretary acknowledging CBA s donation with thanks. 5.0 REPORTS 5.1 Finance. The Treasurer s Income/Expenditure report was circulated and Val Nesbitt moved and Julie McDonald seconded the report be received. The report showed a profit to 01/12/11 of $398.56. 2

GENERAL BUSINESS 6.1 U17 & U19 costs ongoing 6.2 Under 19. The meeting unanimously decided to allow two teams to be chosen if enough players nominate. Rhonda noted there was a caravan park within walking distance of the stadium, which may be looked at for more reasonably priced accommodation. 6.3 There was much discussion re an Under 17 player who withdrew from a second event in the Mandatory Under 17 Tournament at Ballarat. The player chose to only play singles and was asked by a Selector to reconsider, he chose not to play the second event. All agreed that players should play a minimum of two disciplines as per Selection Policy. 6.4 Selection Events for 2012 will be confined to two disciplines. Associations who decide to play three disciplines must play the third discipline on a separate day after the Selection disciplines have been played. 6.5 Secretary to add to Tournament Guidelines Policy A backup of all Selection Tournaments is to sent to Badminton Victoria admin@badmintonvic.com.au and Peter Cocker cockerp@internode.on.net 6.6 Secretary to write a step by step guide to making a backup of a Tournament Software file, Tournament & league Planner. 4
