Our curriculum is based on an entire school year which begins in September and continues through June. We begin the year instilling strong fundamentals and continuously build upon them throughout the year. Our season will culminate with our end-of-the-year showcase. The year is broken down into trimesters for tuition payments. Placement in class is subject to teacher s discretion. Our class sizes are limited to ensure the quality of instruction. Registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis, and will be secured by tuition payment. Students must meet the age requirement by September 1st. Private Voice (by instructor approval) Dance Enhancements Dance Tricks (Ages 10yr & up) Saturday 1:00-2:00 A unique class designed to teach gymnastics inspired dance tricks. Perfect for lyrical, jazz and jazz funk students. Dance Strength (11yr & up) Tuesday 6:45-7:30 The perfect class to enhance your dance training. In this specialized class, dancers will execute exercises that create a stronger center and improve upper and lower body strength. Dance Company STEPS Dance Company is for students who enjoy working on choreography, sharing their love of performing with a broader audience, and enjoy being around others that feel the same way. Participation is by audition only. Company members will be enrolled in a weekly company class with performance opportunities throughout the year including a holiday show and dance competition. A separate company fee is required in addition to the class tuition time. Performing Company requires a total commitment to STEPS. Company members may not be enrolled simultaneously at another studio. Audition considerations must include the ability of consistent class attendance and participation in every performance.
