We are very grateful to local businesses such as Kwinana Auto Bahn and Bob Jane T-Mart for supporting us by allowing us to display the trailer advertisement at their respective businesses. Currently the forecast for Sunday s weather is for sunny weather, so fingers crossed that the weather obliges us. To make the event as successful as possible we need as many attendees as possible, either for displaying vehicles or as spectators. Hence we are still asking for folks to promote the event to their various friends and other contacts as best as possible through social media, distribution of flyers, and personal contact. Michael Metcalf has put in an enormous amount of work with organising this car show, and thus deserves maximum support. Funds raised will be donated to the Children s Leukaemia and Cancer Research Foundation. Ten days after the Show and Shine it will be Anzac Day. Providing breakfast to the community at the local Anzac Day Dawn Service has become a major highlight on the club calendar, and one that brings the majority of the club and partners together. Again our Community Service Director Michael Metcalf will be busy coordinating the event, and will be seeking as many members as possible to help out with preparation and serving of breakfast. With 2018 being the last year of the centenary of World War I, this year s Anzac Day will be particularly memorable. 2017-2018 RI President Ian Riseley No 30 9 April 2018 DeDDecDecembe20162016 2016 2017-2018 DG Bruce Lynch If you had any we hope you had a good day Rotary Club of Sandringham (Vic) District 9810 Coming Events April Maternal and Child Health Month Rotary Club of South Bunbury District 9465 Mon 9 April Sun 15 April Restaurant Meeting @ Kwinana Local Show and Shine Meets Monday 6 for 6.30pm At Rotary Hall Brownell Crescent, Medina Visitors always welcome Mon 16 April Wed 18 April Mon 23 April No meeting Board Meeting No meeting Wed 25 April Anzac Day Breakfast Attendance Officer: Greg Williams 0435 083 069 Apologies by Saturday pm please
