EVERY CLASS OFFERED HEREIN WHICH IS COVERED BY THE RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CURRENT USEF RULE BOOK WILL BE CONDUCTED AND JUDGED IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH. (See Para Equestrian sec on) Classes are limited to compe tors holding current FEI Para Equestrian Classifica ons and USEF Dispensa on Cer ficates. 2. ENTRIES PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: All entries close and must be postmarked or emailed by the closing date herein. Entries will be accepted on a first come first served basis. ENTRIES WILL NOT BE PROCESSED WITH OUT COMPLETED ENTRY FORMS, FULL PAYMENT, SIGNATURES, AND COPIES OF ALL APPLICABLE MEMBERSHIP CARDS (USEF, USDF, CDS). Parents or guardians must sign entry forms of minors. 3. SCRATCHES: Scratches made prior to closing date will be refunded. Exhibitors must inform Show management of scratch. No refunds a er closing date. 4. POST (LATE) ENTRIES: will be accepted if the schedule permits. Horses already in the show will be given priority. Entries postmarked or emailed a er closing date subject to the $30 late fee. 5. CHANGES: requested by the compe tor a er the closing date are subject to $25 change fee. 6. RETURNED CHECKS: are subject to 10% fee ($25 minimum) and 10 days to pay in full or they will be turned over to the USEF for disciplinary ac on. 7. MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT: Life, senior ac ve and junior ac ve members shall be eligible to par cipate in all classes at Regular Compe ons, Even ng Compe ons at the Preliminary Level or above and Combined Driving Compe ons at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaul ng Compe ons and Endurance Rides. A non member may par cipate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Compe ons, Even ng Compe ons, Dressage Compe ons, Reining Compe ons and Combined Driving Compe ons upon payment of a $30 Show Pass fee. Par cipants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibi ons; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4 H members; 5) walk trot (excep on: Friesian performance FR218) and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Compe ons. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) ci zens of other na ons who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own Na onal Federa on, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes. 8. MINOR EXHIBITORS: Parents or guardians of minor exhibitors will hold Ride On harmless for injury to minor. No minor s entry will be accepted unless signed by parent or guardian. The signatures of trainers, agents, or other persons will not be accepted. 9. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Every horse entered for compe on will be under the control of the horse show management, but will not be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur, and it is a condi on of entry that each exhibitor shall hold Los Angeles Equestrian Center, it s Directors, and Employees, Ride On, it s Directors, and Employees harmless for any loss or accident to his horse, horses, or equipment which may occur from accident, sickness, fire, or otherwise. Management reserves the right to cancel, combine, or divide classes, or to change officials as it deems necessary. The decision of Show Management is final.

Rules and Regula ons Please Read Carefully! 10. MANAGEMENT: The horse show management reserves the right to interpret all ques ons and condi ons in regard to or arising out of any incident in the show without claims for damages or recourse of any kind. All ques ons not covered in these rules and regula ons shall be decided by horse show management and their decision is final. The horse show management reserves itself the right to refuse, accept condi onally, or to cancel any entries, disqualify riders or exhibitors, prohibit exhibi on of entries, and to cancel award prizes, without claim to damage, to change, cancel, or combine any classes, to reschedule classes a er due no ce to exhibitors or to change rings or subs tute officials. The judges decisions are strictly their own and the management accepts absolutely no responsibility for those decisions. 11. ARENAS: All tests will be ridden in 20m x 60m or 20m x 40m arenas depending on Grade. Warm up and show arenas have sand foo ng. Only horses entered in the show are allowed to use show Facili es, warm up and show arenas. Horses must wear their compe on numbers at all mes while outside their stalls. Horses cannot be le una ended at any me. 12. LUNGEING: In designated areas only. 13. RIDE TIMES: Preliminary ride mes will be available at the beginning of the show week at. Please check the website throughout the week for any changes. 14. TESTS: Current FEI Para Equestrian Tests Grades I V 15. SCORED TESTS: will be given ONLY TO RIDERS or their agents AFTER the class is placed. Compe tors should check all scores. 16. STABLING: Stabling Available. Fri Sun $60 per day. Permanent stables with stall doors. 17. PARKING: In designated areas only. 18. DOGS: Dogs must be leashed and supervised at all mes. 19. LOADING & UNLOADING: Loading and Unloading in designated areas ONLY. 20. PLEASE NOTE CHANGES TO EQUINE VACCINATION RULE GR845: 1. At Federa on licensed compe ons horses, more than 7 months of age, entering the grounds must be accompanied by documenta on of Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus (Rhinopneumoni s) vaccina ons within six months prior to entering the stables. Horses not in compliance with this rule may be required to leave the compe on grounds upon request by Compe on Management.

DRIVER S LICENSE STATEMENT: Minors who do not have a valid driver s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permi ed to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm u lity vehicles on the compe on grounds of licensed compe ons. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor opera ng a motorized vehicle in viola on of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or ac ons resul ng from that opera on. Viola ons of this rule will be cause for sanc ons against the parent(s), guardian (s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child commi ng the offense. Penal es may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the compe on grounds for the remainder of the compe on and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Chapter 6. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabili es are exempt from this rule.
