Weigh-in starts at 9:00 a.m. and the show starts at 10:00 a.m. The Ashe County Friends of Agriculture Advisory Committee Members have worked many hard hours planning and fundraising to ensure that participants will have a successful experience. 1. This show is open to all youth. Exhibitors under 18 years of age as of January 1, 2012 are eligible to participate in the showmanship categories. 2. Adults may show in the type classes. Adults will be placed separate from youth. 3. Every animal must have previously registered with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Ashe County Center, by Monday, June 25, 2012 to participate. 4. All animals must have current health papers. Scrapie tags are required for sheep and goats. 5. In any case where questions arise, the decision of the Ashe County Friends of Agriculture Livestock Committee will be final. 6. First place winners will receive $20.00; Second place winners will receive $15.00; and Third place winners will receive $10.00. Participants receiving premium prize money must complete a W-9 Form 7. All liability, injury and registration forms must be completed and signed (if under age 18 by legal guardian) to participate. Entry forms are posted on our website: http://ashe.ces.ncsu.edu.
