Cooper Johnstone Racing Sponsorship About us Cooper Johnstone racing (www.cooperjohnstone.com, https://www.facebook.com/cooperjohnstoneracing/) was established in December 2015 to support Cooper Johnstone and his dream of a racing career. Cooper began competing at club level in January 2016 and has now competed in the Australian Karting Championship and numerous events across Victoria, resulting in 10 podiums in the last 12 months. Cooper is our lead driver and is currently competing in Karting Australia KA4 Junior Light and with the occasional competition in KA3, in an Arrow X4 Go Kart running an IAME KA100 engine. Our home club and track is the Go Kart Club of Victoria, the premier Go Kart Club in Victoria, located at Todd Road in Port Melbourne. We are also members of the Oakleigh Go Kart Racing Club. To date, our investment of $50,000 in Cooper and his racing career has garnered incredible results for a racer so new to this intensely competitive sport. More recently Cooper has been consistently competing at much higher levels with multiple race wins and fantastic qualifying results. Essentially all V8 and F1 drivers racing today, started their careers in this Junior Go Karting category. For a young team we are already exceeding expectations. The KA4 Junior category in Go Karting is by far the most competitive category and the most successful teams enjoy a significant level of sponsorship. Thanks to family and friends, we have obtained several sponsors so far to help us with tyres and race entry fees. Our heartfelt thanks go to Thermal Air-conditioning and Daikin Airconditioning, CBJ Installations Australia, Pace Images, Jarryd Biffin Photographer, Grower Supplies Australia and Hillstone LED. Now we seek the support of some dynamic new sponsors to ensure we stay competitive into 2017.
Who is Cooper Johnstone? Cooper is an engaging, charming and talented 14 year old who is top of his class at De La Salle College in Malvern, Victoria. He loves all things motor racing including F1, V8's and Nascar. Like many young men, Cooper s passion for, and knowledge of, cars and racing started at a very young age - he was always reading, researching, watching and talking about motorsport. What sets Cooper apart is his passion, dedication and determination to succeed. He is actively growing his mechanical understanding and experience and spends countless hours looking after his kart and gear. This is not just a hobby for Cooper, he hopes it is the start of a career in motorsport. Go Karting as a sport Go Karting is a grass roots sport. It s where future motor racing stars are made, but it s also where ordinary young people learn about sportsmanship, perseverance, confidence, focus, respect, friendship, reliability, dedication and loyalty. The atmosphere at a go kart race is overwhelmingly one of support and camaraderie. People of all ages (7 60+) can enjoy the sport with children as young as seven competing behind the wheel. Karting teaches these children, both boys and girls, basic driving skills well before they are able to obtain their road licence. Karting is competitive, but it is also fun and family orientated, with involvement in the sport both on and off the track giving it a strong feeling of community. It teaches driving skills and offers people an opportunity to gain a career in motorsport, all in a safe and organised environment. Kart meetings take place at circuits across Australia every weekend and are either a club, regional, state or national level meeting with a diverse audience ranging from a couple hundred through to in excess of 600 for national meetings.

Some key social media stats include: Facebook: 3,555 total page likes 20,497 unique user reach In the past 28 days 3,172 page engagement, 3,621 reach, and 59,674 impressions Instagram: 177 Followers You Tube 55 Subscribers 8,426 Views We would - within your guidelines - support and provide exposure to your organisation (or charity) via these platforms. https://twitter.com/cooperj_racing https://www.instagram.com/cooperjohnstoneracing/ https://www.facebook.com/cooperjohnstoneracing/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/ucfc4y3_lpj-uzps-k3uegva Track Side Exposure: Throughout the year we compete across Victoria in front of hundreds of spectators. Victorian state and Australian Championship rounds have an even bigger turnout with a barrage of press via Karting Australia and tremendous levels of social media activity. In 2018 are planning on competing in over of 30 race meets across Victoria. We are sponsored by a professional photographer so we have access to excellent professional photos from the track. In term of trackside reach at 30 meets, we expect an average of 400 people in attendance, of which approx. 40% are likely the same people. We therefore estimate total unique trackside reach in the order of 7,200 people for year. Fundraising: We are keen to work with a sponsor or their nominated charity. Via racing and as individuals, we would proudly fly the flag for your charity for whom we would commit to fundraise as part of your sponsorship deal. Trackside collections, personal appearances (with or without kart), professional website / social media support are just some of the ways in which we can offer support in exchange for sponsorship. 2017 Race Result Highlights Podiums: 1 x Win, 5 x Second Place, 4 x Third place, and many Forth place finishes Pole Position: 5 times
