JULY 21 TO 26, 2015 This Federation of International Lacrosse supported event will be the inaugural international lacrosse tournament held in Latin America. The main purpose of this event is to be a key cog in the international development of lacrosse in Central and South America. During the American Cup, we will be taking advantage of the union of several Latin-American countries surrounding this event; numerous activities have been planned to support the development of the sport on the rest of the Continent: -Referee Clinics -Men s Lacrosse Clinic -Women s Lacrosse Clinic -General Development Seminar -Strategic Plantation workshop -Lacrosse Festival (tournament along the Cup)
ACTIVITIES
REFEREE CLINIC July 23 14hrs: The main target is to train the participants from the visiting countries on this event, to give the support and enhance the ability to train Referees in their own nations. This clinic will be given by the well-trained staff from the Federation of International Lacrosse. MALE CLINIC July 24 14hrs: The target of this clinic is to increase the game experience from every participant. This clinic will be divided by position and will be given by the well-trained staff from the Federation of International Lacrosse, as well as few volunteer US college lacrosse players. FEMALE CLINIC July 25 14hrs: The target of this clinic is to increase the game experience from every participant. This clinic will be divided by position and will be given by the experienced staff from the Federation of International Lacrosse.
Development seminary July 24 19hrs (Directors only): This will be an open forum to discuss and share educational experiences from every participant nation. The main intention is to share experiences during these 5 years, as well as preview the International World cup 2014. Primary topics will be: growth, development, changes, achievements, and goals for every country. Strategic Planning Workshop Strategic Planning Workshop- July 25 19hrs: The purpose of this workshop is for every leader on each Latin-American country improves their skills with this intensive planning workshop. The main target is to teach methodology that will help them develop the sport in every particular situation.

CIUDAD DEPORTIVA COPA AMÉRICA 2015 FESTIVAL FIELDS Ciudad Deportiva is the biggest and most important sport complex in Mexico city, it has hosted sixteen Formula 1 events, several Regional Olympic championships, professional baseball leagues, and the most important music festivals in the country including: Corona Capital, Music Fest, etc. Mexico city government has made an investment of $3.5 million USD to re-design this facility in order to host the panamerican sports festival of 2014. ABOUT As is common in the Lacrosse community, and in every international tournament which is supported by the International Federation, a festival will take place parallel to the American Cup. This recreational tournament is usually called, The Festival. The goal being to help bring enthusiastic lacrosse players from around the world, that through the network and friendship expand the community of lacrosse and grow the game on an international level. This is an open invitation to participate in the International festival for clubs and College teams. It will take place adjacent to the American Cup activities. The Festival will take place in Ciudad Deportiva where the Formula 1 circuit, the Foro Sol Stadium and the Palacio de los deportes.
JULY 22 TO 26, 2015 In Mexico City Lacrosse has grown rapidly and the Mexico city government, along with the Mexican Lacrosse Federation are seeking to boost Lacrosse in a Macro perspective inside the state and country. The Festival and America Cup will detonate the participation of this sport to a new level. This event is looking for the participation from highest level of lacrosse within College teams, and club teams from the USA and Canada. The participants will play the first phase on the festival in four groups of three teams each. After three games in each group, the best will proceed to the next round. The winning teams will play the playoffs, and finally, a final championship game will decide the winner. Every team has five games as minimum, one game every day during the five day festival.
