Rules That Apply to All CWSL Teams o Soccer age eligibility rules o Players cannot play down in age o U10 and under: play up 2yrs max o Roster maximums set by WYSA o U10 and under rosters must change by 50% from one season to the next (these teams cannot stay together) o WYSA rules concerning when and how tryouts are conducted for state league teams Other Factors Considered by MCU o Manage roster sizes (try to avoid large or over-rostered teams) o Combine age groups, if needed o Create fair/ even teams in terms of skills based on coaches evaluations o Assign goalkeeper(s) o No tryouts/state teams before U12 o Provide players access to highest levels of competition by forming state league teams o Other factors considered on a case-by-case basis (specific coach or friend requests not considered)
Get to know the other families on your team. When possible, it helps to stay at the same hotel on tournament weekends. Cheer for all the team s players. Remember sideline etiquette. Follow the lead of your coach. Communicate with the team manager and coach. Keep perspective. This is supposed to be fun!

All Stefan s Soccer uniform orders and spirit-wear orders are now in the imprinting process Club delivery expected in late April for all Classic league teams. Coaches and team managers will be contacted to help with delivery Late orders are available but may incur late fees and delivery charges (not guaranteed to arrive before the first game or tournament.) U9 and U10: Equal playing time U11 and U12: Close to equal (e.g. 40%-60%) U13 and up: Minimum 30% of the game, subject to the coach s discretion based on technical and tactical abilities of the players. State League and MRL teams: There is no minimum playing time. Coaches may reduce playing time for attendance, effort, attitude, fitness, injury
Poor attendance and/or punctuality at practices or games. Poor effort, attitude, and/or behavior during practices or games. Poor fitness level, including injuries. Inability to work/play well with teammates.
Coaches will consider what is best for individual players and what is best for the team. Coaches will use discretion. Coaches will communicate decisions to limit/reduce playing time to affected players.
