Hachioji Festival The annual festival held in the beginning of August attracts more than 700,000 visitors. The festival is famous for the splendid floats sculptures. Hachioji-Geisha Speaking of Geisha, Kyoto is famous; however, Hachioji has 20 Geishas who have been passing down the tradition. Hachioji Ramen (Japanese noodle dish) Ramen is very popular meal for Japanese. The character of Hachioji Ramen is chopped onion on the noodle. Hachioji Textile and Tokyo Kokeshi (wooden doll) Hachioji is flourished in silk industry, and has been producing textile like fabrics and ties.tokyo Kokeshi (wooden doll) s body and its necklace are both carved out from a trunk by the skill of craftsmanship.
