Friday, June 3 @ 8PM Join Carol Burnett for her personally selected favorite moments from her long-running comedy series, including sketches from the first five years of the show not seen in decades. Look for this symbol indicating programs for which you can pledge. Indicates tickets are available for upcoming performances with the pledge of membership. Monday, June 6 @ 7PM Join pianist and historian Richard Glazier as he weaves interviews, piano performances and commentary to create a fascinating look at Broadway and Hollywood through music. Ticket vouchers will be available for the 2016 season for Music Theatre Wichita at Century II. Thursday, June 9 @ 7PM This program celebrates 30 years of musical holiday magic and 40 years of groundbreaking Fresh Aire compositions with this milestone special from the American group known for their blending of classic music and rock. The concert was captured in high definition and recorded in surround sound over two evenings in December 2014 at the Orpheum Theater in Omaha, Nebraska, the group s hometown. Friday, June 10 @ 7PM Join the world-renowned performer to explore classic songs from the Broadway songbook. Otello Friday, June 17 @ 8PM See new staging of Verdi s masterpiece, conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin and directed by Bartlett Sher, with Aleksandrs Antonenko as the tormented Moor of Venice, with Sonya Yoncheva as Desdemona and Željko Lu i as Otello s sinister rival, Iago. Tannhauser Friday, June 24 @ 8PM James Levine conducts the first Met revival of Wagner s Tannhauser since 04. Johan Botha sings the title role, with Peter Mattei, Gunther Groissbock, and Eva-Maria Westbroek and Michelle DeYoung as human and divine rivals for Tannhauser s affection. Series Finale Sunday, June 19 @ 7PM Chart a year in the life of Freddie (Ian McKellen) and Stuart (Derek Jacobi) as they enjoy their inheritance and a birthday. Violet (Frances de la Tour) moves on from her divorce and Ash (Iwan Rheon) arrives with news.
ENDEAVOUR SEASON 3 Sundays @ 8PM Starting June 19 Shaun Evans returns for a third season as the young Endeavour Morse. In four new films, Endeavour must deal with the aftermath of the events that left him in prison and his senior officer, DI Thursday (Roger Allam), with a life-threatening injury. Sundays @ 9:30PM Starting June 19 When a French politician s body is found on the border between the UK and France, detectives Karl Roebuck (Stephen Dillane) and Elise Wassermann (Clémence Poésy) investigate on behalf of their respective countries. The case takes a surreal turn when a shocking discovery is made at the crime scene, forcing the French and British police into an uneasy partnership. As the serial killer uses ever more elaborate and ingenious methods to highlight the moral bankruptcy of modern society, Karl and Elise are drawn deeper into his increasingly personal agenda. Sundays @ 7PM Starting June 26 This 1930 s period drama detailing the rise of the Louis Lester Band a black jazz band in London led by Louis Lester, played by BAFTA Award- Winner Chiwetel Ejiofor. As the band continues to prevail, despite the racism and classism they encounter, Louis finds himself entangled in a series of unfortunate events. He becomes a suspect in a murder case, putting him on the run and possibly leading to the band s demise. The series originally aired on Starz in 2013.
