2 TYPE TITLE HERE DEMO S Any problem in the world can be solved by dancing James Brown On December 18 th we did a demo for the residence of Cypress Place, an assisted living facility in Ventura. We had a great time and the audience enjoyed having us come and perform for them. Aside, from us dancing Buster crooned a few Christmas Carols to the delight of the people. back again. Thanks to Sue Ellen, Buster, Maria, Judy, Ann, Jesse, Polly, Mike and Fran for coming out. Please keep a Saturday or Sunday open and join us as we try to schedule more Demos for the future. 4 TYPE TITLE HERE Locations to Dance Dance till the stars come down from the rafters. Dance, Dance, Dance till Here is a local spot to go during the week just for lessons and a little dancing. The Moose Lodge in Oxnard. The classes are run by Jim Potter, lessons start at 7:00pm with dancing to follow until 9:00pm. Lessons are usually at the intermediate dancer level and are on the first and third Mondays and second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. The non-lesson nights are for reviews and more time on the dance floor. For more information and directions to the Moose Lodge you can contact Jim at cwdancefun@aol.com January 22 nd the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District will be holding a Country Western Dance. 5 Toys for Tots I want to thank all of you who participated in Toys for Tots this past year either by donating toys, money or recycling your aluminum cans and plastic bottles all year. In December of 2003 I announce on the air at KHAY that my goal was to double Country Lvoers Donation in 2004. Thanks to everyone s contributions, we met that goal. I am willing to try to double our donation again in 2005 although I did not make any promises. If you would like to help, bring your aluminum cans and plastic bottles or monies collected by turning them in at a recycling center, to our Tuesday night dances.
