Page 1 CAESARS WINDSOR ( TOURNAMENT RULES ) 1. Eligible Total Rewards members will be mailed a postcard (using the last address recorded on their Total Rewards account) advising them that they have qualified for entry into the Millionaire Maker Slot Tournament (the Tournament ). 2. Space is limited. Entries will be received on a first-come, first-serve basis. The number of sessions and/or session times may be modified to accommodate the number of participants, at the sole discretion of Caesars Entertainment Windsor Limited (the Sponsor ). 3. Registration will take place from 12:00:00pm ET. to 5:30:00p.m. ET. on July 15, 2018 in the Forum Ballroom located on the second floor of the Caesars Windsor (the Casino ) at 377 Riverside Drive East, Windsor, Ontario N9A 7H7. 4. All players are required to register for the Tournament at least one half-hour before their assigned session time on Sunday, July 15, 2018 ( Tournament Day One ). There will be one progressive round of play on Tournament Day One. Round One will take place from 1:00:00 p.m. Eastern Time ( ET ) to 6:00:00 p.m. ET. Round Two will take place on Monday, July 16, 2018 ( Tournament Day Two ) from 1:00:00 p.m. ET to 2:00:00 p.m. ET. Round Three will take place on Tournament Day Two at 4:00:00 p.m. ET. Each session should consist of a minimum of twenty (20) players and up to a maximum of forty-six (46) players. All Tournament times are approximate. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify Tournament dates and times in its sole discretion. 5. Players who do not register at least thirty (30) minutes prior to their pre-selected session times are considered to be no-shows and the Sponsor reserves the right to refill these spaces without any means of compensation to the players by either monetary means or by putting them in another session or tournament. 6. Entries are non-transferable. 7. For any spaces that are refilled, the Sponsor will select the machine numbers for the particular session once the registration time for the confirmed player has expired. 8. Sessions will not be delayed due to late arrivals. Late arrivals will not be able to play in that session and will not participate in the tournament. 9. If a player is unable, due to a physical condition, to participate in the Tournament, the player may designate a proxy in writing (in a form acceptable to the Sponsor) to act on his/her behalf and complete any assigned task that may be required as an attempt to win a prize in the Tournament including, but not limited to, making an attempt to win a prize in the Tournament. All attempts by the Proxy will be deemed to be the attempts of the player for the purpose of the Tournament Rules. Once the player has designated the Proxy, the designation is final and binding. Any and all awarded prizes in the Tournament are the sole property of the player and the Proxy will not be entitled to any portion of any prizes.
Page 2 10. Players who are not present in the tournament area at their designated session time are considered no shows and the Sponsor reserves the right to replace the player. Failure to attend a session will result in a score of zero for that session. Players with a score of zero in any session are not eligible for prizes. The Sponsor reserves the right to refill these spaces without any means of compensation to the players by either monetary means or by putting them in another session or tournament. 11. Players must play on their assigned machines unless there is a machine malfunction that cannot be fixed immediately. In this event, players will be assigned to an alternate machine or session, where their score will begin at zero. 12. Players will begin each session with three (3) minutes of time to play. Players must continue to play until the entire three (3) minutes of time has elapsed. 13. On Tournament Day One, Round One session times are at 1:00:00 p.m., 1:20:00 p.m., 1:40:00p.m, 2:00:00 p.m., 2:20:00 p.m., 2:40:00 p.m., 3:00:00 p.m., 3:20:00 p.m., 3:40:00 p.m., 4:00:00 p.m., 4:20:00 p.m., 4:40:00 p.m., 5:00:00 p.m., 5:20:00 p.m. 5:40:00 p.m. and 6:00:00 p.m., for a total of 16 sessions. 14. A Wild Card draw will be held for those players who did not advance after Round One. Players who do not advance after Round One will deposit their session cards into the ballot drum located in the Tournament Area for an opportunity to advance to Round Two. The ballot drum will be available on Tournament Day One from 1:00:00 p.m. ET to 6:30:00 p.m. ET. On Tournament Day Two at 12:00:00 p.m. ET a Caesars Windsor representative (the Representative ) will draw the appropriate number of session cards from the ballot drum until up to a maximum of twenty four (24) selected entrants are present in Cosmos (the Wild Card Draw Site ). The Representative will announce each selected entrant s name and account number three (3) times. Selected entrants must be present at the Wild Card Draw Site during the draw to advance to Round Two. 15. On Tournament Day Two, Round Two session times are at 1:00:00 p.m., 1:20:00 p.m., 1:40:00 p.m., and 2:00:00 p.m. 16. A Wild Card draw will be held for those players who did not advance after Round Two. Players who do not advance after Round Two deposit their session cards into the ballot drum located in the Tournament Area for an opportunity to advance to Round Three. The ballot drum will be available on Tournament Day Two from 1:00:00 p.m. ET to 2:30:00 p.m. ET. On Tournament Day Two at 3:00:00 p.m. ET, a Caesars Windsor representative will draw the appropriate number of session cards from the ballot drum until up to a maximum of six (6) selected entrants are present at the Wild Card Draw Site. The Representative will announce each selected entrant s name and account number three (3) times. Selected entrants must be present at the Wild Card Draw Site during the draw to advance to Round Three. 17. On Tournament Day Two, Round Three session time is at 4:00:00 p.m. ET.
Page 3 18. A player who begins a session must complete the session. No substitutions will be allowed while a session is in play. Each player must remain at their machine at the end of play to sign the score sheet at the end of the session attesting to the accuracy of the recorded score. Failure to do so will result in disqualification and the player will not be eligible for any prizes and any prizes will be forfeited. 19. The player s scores will determine the player s overall placement in the Tournament. The players with the top five (5) scores on Tournament Day Two, Round Three will determine the winners in sequential order. The first through fifth highest scores will be awarded a trip to Harrah s Harvey s Lake Tahoe for a chance to participate in the Millionaire Maker Slot Tournament Finale being held April 22 24, 2019 (the Main Event ). 20. In the event of a tie for one of the first five (5) places for the cash and trip prizes, a fourth tournament with a 3 minute session will be played by the tied entrants, with the winner being awarded the actual tied place and the lower scoring player being awarded the next sequential lower place. If a playoff results in a tie, a fifth 3 minute tournament will occur until any ties are resolved. Despite any ties, the same amount of cash and trip prizes shall be awarded. 21. Prize purse may be adjusted proportionately based on the number of Tournament entries at the discretion of the Sponsor, which may include lowering the prize purse. 22. To be eligible to win any prize, the registered player must have a recorded score in Rounds One, Two and Three and that score must be greater than zero. 23. On Tournament Day Two, the following cash prizes will be available to be won for a total of fortysix (46) prizes with a total cash value of Cdn. $32,600 cash: 1 st Place: Cdn. $15,000.00 cash and a trip to the Main Event 2 nd Place: Cdn. $7,500.00 cash and a trip to the Main Event 3 rd Place: Cdn $3,000.00 cash and a trip to the Main Event 4 th Place: Cdn. $2,000.00 cash and a trip to the Main Event 5 th Place: Cdn. $1,000.00 cash and a trip to the Main Event 6 th - 46 th Place: Cdn. $100 in Reel Rewards Coupons ( RRCs ) Bonus Draws: five (5) prizes of Cdn, $500 and five (5) bonus trips to the Main Event
Page 4 Reel Reward Coupons ( RRCs ) are valid only at the property indicated on the front of the RRC. RRC is nontransferable. Caesars Windsor is not responsible for lost or stolen RRC. Total Rewards Card is required to redeem RRC. Reward Credits will not be earned on any RRC downloaded to slot machines. No cash value. RRC are void if illegible, altered, counterfeit, incomplete, produced in error, or fail validation testing. Bill validator system malfunction voids the transaction and the RRC. Guests may be required to present RRC, Total Rewards Card, and photo ID for redemption. RRC will expire and thereby become null and void at 11:59 p.m. on the latest date printed on the front of the RRC. From that point forward they will not be redeemable at any location, including designated machines or a Casino Cashier. Once redeemed at a slot machine, all associated free slot play must be played or forfeited. Caesars Windsor reserves the right to alter, modify, amend, cancel or revoke offers and/or RRC for any reason without prior notice. The Main Event will take place at Harrah s Harvey s Lake Tahoe April 22 24, 2019 subject to change at the sole discretion of Caesars Entertainment Inc. ( Main Event Sponsor ). NOTE: The Tournament Winners must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of travel (April 22 24, 2019) (an Eligibility Requirement ). If a Tournament Winner does not meet the Eligibility Requirement, that Tournament Winner is prohibited from accepting the Prize Package and must accept the corresponding cash prize portion only. The travel portion of the Prize Package will then be forfeited. Bonus Draws: On July 16, 2018, at approximately 6:00:00 p.m. ET during the Reception on the Cosmos Stage (the Grand Prize Draw Site ) located on the main floor of Caesars Windsor, a representative of the Sponsor will draw five (5) ballots from the ballot drum for the five (5) prizes of Cdn. $500. The representative will then draw an additional five (5) ballots from the ballot drum for a chance to win the final five (5) spots available for a trip to Harrah s Harvey s Lake Tahoe to participate in the 2019 Main Event. *(Those who have placed first through fifth do not qualify to win again). A representative of the Sponsor will draw the appropriate number of ballots from the draw drum and will announce the selected entrants name and account number three (3) times until the ten (10) selected entrants are present in the Grand Prize Draw Site. Entrants must be present at the Grand Prize Draw Site and identify themselves to a Caesars Representative within one (1) minute to win. In order to win the Wild Card draw or the Bonus Draw see paragraph 14 and paragraph above, each selected entrant must correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited (90 seconds), mathematical, skill-testing question. Selected entrants will also be required to sign a standard Release, including publicity release, confirming compliance with the Tournament Rules, acceptance of the selected prize as awarded and releasing the Sponsor, Windsor Casino Limited, Ontario Lottery and Gaming (the OLG ) and Caesars Windsor and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies, agents, respective directors, officers, employees, representatives, sponsors, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with the Tournament or receipt and use of the prize. Winners guests, if applicable, will also be required to sign a Release and return same within the time specified on such Release in order to be eligible to travel with the winner.
Page 5 All answers to skill-testing questions are final. The selected entrant must comply with all Tournament Rules before being declared a winner. Should a selected entrant incorrectly answer the skill-testing question, or otherwise fail to comply with all the Tournament Rules, the selected entrant will be disqualified from Tournament participation and the prize will be forfeited and not be drawn for again. Prizes which are not claimed in accordance with these rules will not be awarded. There are a total of ten (10) Millionaire Maker Main Event Prize Packages available to be won. 5 bonus draws and top 5 winners. Each Millionaire Maker Event Prize Package consists of: round-trip economy air transportation for two (2), from the major commercial airport nearest the winner s place of residence to Harrah s Harvey s Lake Tahoe, three (3) night hotel accommodations at the Harrah s Harvey s Lake Tahoe Hotel on April 22 to April 24, 2019 for two (2) (approximate total value Cdn. $ 2,000.00 based on departure). Actual value of prize will depend on factors such as departure city and the date of travel. Winner is not entitled to monetary difference between the actual prize value and stated approximate prize value, if any. Eg. trip itinerary below. For Trip Prizes: All trip prizes must be booked through Caesars Passport Travel at 1-800-871-4465. Precise travel arrangements are subject to flight and space availability. Winner and travel companion must travel together on the same itinerary. Hotel reservations must be booked a minimum of fourteen (14) days in advance, and are subject to availability. All travel arrangements must be booked by December 1 st, 2018. Trip prizes do not include any expenses not explicitly stated as being part of the prize including, but not limited to, meals, gratuities, alcohol, insurance, taxes, international taxes, fuel surcharges, souvenirs, items of a personal nature, ground transportation and local travel, spending money, telephone calls, in room charges, room service, overnight layovers, travel and health insurance, travel documents and passport. It is the responsibility of the winner and his/her guest to ensure that they have all of the necessary identification documentation (such as a valid passport) and/or medical treatments to permit travel to the Main Event. The Sponsor is not responsible in the event the winner or his/her guest are refused entry to the destination city or reentry into Canada or the United States, as applicable, for whatever reason, in which event any unused portion of the prize will be forfeited. If the winner and/or his or her guest is unable or unwilling to accept or otherwise redeem the prize or any part of the prize for any reason on the terms it is awarded, the prize or that portion of the prize shall be forfeited and will not be drawn for again and no cash or substitutes will be provided in whole or in part. The Main Event is subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the sponsor of the Main Event. The Sponsor is not responsible if the Main Event is cancelled or rescheduled. Further, the Sponsor is not responsible for the inability of a player to participate in the Main Event. All cash prizes will be awarded in Canadian funds. Tournament cheques will be issued in the name of the registered player. Awarded tournament cheques are valid for cashing ONLY at a Casino designated cashier cage. By participating in this Contest, an entrant grants to the Sponsor the right to use his/her likeness and name, mailing address including city of residence, telephone number, and e-mail address ( Personal Information ) without further permission or compensation for the purpose of administering the Contest including, but not limited to, contacting and announcing the winner and acknowledges that the Sponsor may disclose the Personal Information to third parties or service providers of the Sponsor in connection with the foregoing. By accepting a prize in this Contest, winner and his/her guest, if applicable, grants to the Sponsor the right to use their Personal Information including any photographs or comments for publicity and promotional purposes relating to the Contest without compensation or further permission and acknowledges that the Sponsor may disclose the Personal Information to third parties or service providers of the Sponsor in connection with the foregoing. By entering this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by the Contest Rules and decisions of the Sponsor which decisions shall be final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. This Contest is subject to all federal, provincial, municipal and state laws of Canada and the United States of America. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Contest Rules or the rights and obligations as between the entrant and the Sponsor in connection with the Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario including procedural provisions without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction s laws. All times stated are local Windsor, Ontario times and all values stated are in Canadian dollars. 37. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated or illegible entries nor for electronic transmission errors or delays resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, hardware, software, or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions, whether caused by the Sponsor, users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of Total Rewards cards or submissions which may limit, restrict, or prevent a participant s ability to participate in this Contest. 38. If this Contest is interfered with, or it is impracticable to conduct, or continue to conduct in whole or in part, as a result of fire, explosion, power failure, acts of God, civil commotion and/or labour unrest such as strikes, slow-downs, lock-outs, picketing or boycotts, the Sponsor, the OLG, Caesars Windsor, and their respective parent companies and their respective officers, directors and employees shall be released from any and all responsibility and/or liability whatsoever arising from such interference or impracticability, and the Sponsor shall have the option, at its sole discretion, to cancel, extend or reschedule the Contest without liability. 39. In the event of discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules and any disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest related materials including, but not limited to, any entry form or advertising collateral, the terms and conditions of these Contest Rules shall prevail. 40. All federal, state, provincial and local taxes, licensing, custom duties and the like amounts and any other fees on prizes, if any, are the responsibility of the winner and the winner authorizes the deduction of such taxes, if any, from the prize(s) to the extent required by law. 41.
