PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS PRESCHOOL Gymnastics PROGRAM: Boys and Girls mixed, ages 2, 3, 4 and 5. Our Preschool program is designed to teach Gymnastic skills with the important bonus of improvement in coordination, flexibility, strength, balance, concentration and discipline. This program also teaches children how to follow directions and work within a Group. Classes are taught using an age appropriate, Safe, step by step, FUN curriculum. 2 year olds participate in the Mom and Me class. Each child must be accompanied by an adult (parent, grandparent, caregiver, etc.) in class. This class introduces the child to Gymnastic skills, following directions and the atmosphere of the gym. FUN! The adults help guide the children through stations of activities with instructions from and under the supervision of an Instructor. This class has an average of 12 children per instructor. Preschoolers, ages 3, 4 and 5 do all the same Events as older children, tumbling (floor), vault, bars and balance beam. Much of the equipment is scaled down in size for a small child. 3 year olds are grouped in their own class. (No parents) 4 and 5 year olds are in a class together. (No parents) 3 year old classes have an average of 6 students per instructor. 4-5 year old classes have an average of 7 students per instructor. PRESCHOOL BOYS Gymnastics: Boys only, ages 4 and 5. This class introduces the students to Men s gymnastics skills and equipment: tumbling (floor), vault, p-bars, high bar, rings and pommel horse.. Preschool Boys classes have an average of 8 students per instructor.

GIRLS GYMNASTICS BEGINNER GIRLS GYMNASTICS PROGRAM: Girls only. Age 5 (In Kindergarten) and Age 6 and up. This recreational program teaches Gymnastic Skills, balance, strength, agility, flexibility, focus, discipline and coordination. School age girls are trained in all Olympic Events; Floor (tumbling), Uneven Bars, Balance Beam and Vault. Classes are taught using a Safe, step by step curriculum. Beginner Girls Classes have an average of 8 students per instructor. ADVANCED BEGINNER GYMNASTICS: Girls only, (by Invitation Only) ages 6 and up. This recreational program teaches more advanced gymnastic skills on Floor (tumbling), Uneven Bars, Balance Beam and Vault. Students are enrolled upon Instructor Recommendation after they have mastered the basic skills required in the Beginner Program. Classes are taught with a Safe, step by step curriculum. Adv. Beginner classes have an average of 10 students per instructor. INTERMEDIATE GYMNASTICS: Girls only, (by Invitation Only) ages 6 and up. This is our most advanced recreational program for Girls. Skills are taught on Floor (tumbling), Uneven Bars, Balance Beam and Vault. Students are enrolled upon Instructor recommendation after they have mastered the skills required in the Advanced Beginner Gymnastics Program. Classes are taught using a Safe, step by step curriculum. Int. Gymnastics classes have an average of 10 students per instructor. Courthouse Gymnastic Co. also offers a PreTeam and Competitive Team Program for Girls.

BOYS GYMNASTICS BEGINNER BOYS GYMNASTICS PROGRAM: Boys only. school age, Ages 6 and up. This recreational program teaches Gymnastic Skills, balance, strength, agility, flexibility, focus, discipline and coordination. School age Boys are trained in all Olympic Events; Floor (tumbling), Parallel Bars, Vault, Rings, Pommel Horse and High Bar. Classes are taught with a Safe, step by step curriculum. Beginner Boys classes have an average of 8 students per instructor. Courthouse Gymnastic Co. also offers a Competitive Team Program for Boys.

TUMBLING Beginner TUMBLING Progam: Girls and Boys, ages 7 and up. This program teaches skills in Tumbling (Floor) only. Courthouse Gymnastics Co. recommends that a child have a minimum of one year of Gymnastics classes to build upper body strength and flexibility needed for safer, stronger tumbling. This class teaches basic tumbling skills leading up to a Back Handspring. To move out of this class, the Instructor must determine that the student can correctly do certain basic skills And do a Back Handspring by themselves on an incline mat and trampoline. This class is taught in a Safe, step by step method. Beginner Tumbling classes have an average of 10 students per instructor. Intermediate TUMBLING Program: Girls and Boys, ages 7 and up. A student is moved to this class when the Instructor determines that they have mastered basic tumbling skills And can do a Back Handspring by themselves on a trampoline and on an incline mat. Students will work on perfecting the Back Handspring. They will progress to a Round Off Back Handspring and work on multiple Back Handsprings. This class is taught in a Safe, step by step method. Advanced TUMBLING Program: Girls and boys, ages 7 and up. This program is for students who can perform or are learning Advanced Tumbling Skills such as multiple Back Handsprings, Fulls, Back Tucks and Layouts. To be in the Advanced Tumbling class participants must have multiple back handsprings and must be able to throw a round off back handspring tuck on either the tumble track or floor. Courthouse Gymnastics also offers a Competitive Cheer program, Dynamite Cheer. Tryouts are held each year in April or May.

OTHER PROGRAMS SPEED AND STRENGTH CLASS: Boys and Girls, ages 8 and up. This class is designed to improve strength, agility, flexibility, coordination, speed and endurance needed for All Sports. It is also a great class for a child to get in better shape. No matter what sport a child participates in; gymnastics, soccer, baseball, football, basketball or track, this class will improve their performance. The class is taught using exercises in agility, flexibility, coordination, strength building, speed and running.
