Flagler County Corvette Club Newsletter Page 2 Membership Committee Lillian Loudermilk MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE November, 2014 Well we had another good turn-out this month at our business meeting. In my absence, I want to thank John Loudermilk and Nellie Shepherd for processing all prospective members. I would like to remind everyone to be sure to use the Sign- In Sheet upon arrival. Paul and Irmgard Ferrari are the newest members, who were unable to attend our business meeting. We look forward to presenting them with their new member package at the December Business Meeting. We had several prospective Lillian Loudermilk guests, Vincent Antone, Tom Dickson, Nancy Pace, and Amy and Gary Allen who are now eligible to be our newest members. We also had some first time prospective visitors, Darrell and Susan Ogg, Larry and Trish Parker, and Mick Julien attend. Also, please contact me if you ever hear of any of our members being under the weather. Often times I do not hear that someone is sick or is having surgery until months later. So it would be appreciated if members could let me know any news so that Lin Britt can send out cards. If anyone needs a new mouse pad ($5.00) or a new car decal ($3.00), they can be purchased at each month s business meeting. The updated list of all Officers, Board & Committee Members are on the website under the member s category only. We had 32 people eat dinner and approximately 58 people in attendance at the business meeting. Mike Julien won the 50/50 Raffle drawing. December Birthdays Members 117 Households 62 Corvettes 88
Flagler County Corvette Club Newsletter Page 3 Long Range Cruise Committee Dan Beyer Dan Beyer November was a busy month. Several members travelled to Ocala for the Marion County Corvette Club show at the Don Garlits Racing Museum. Over 150 cars were shown on a very nice day. Later in the month 10 members attended the all makes show at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind in St. Augustine. Several members won trophies. These were Dan Norbut, Steve Kirchgessner, Joe Librizzi and Paul Kachura. Finally at the end of the month, I attended the Corvette Club of the Palm Beaches show at the Disney resort in Coronado, FL. Was very different for me, since it was run by a professional show company. I won a trophy, mostly because only a few C4s were shown. Have a great December!! Save the Wave Dan

Flagler County Corvette Club Newsletter Page 5 Social Committee Marsha Mendelovitz Happy Holidays to all of you. November DAD's was quite a surprise having 27 attendees with only 15 confirmations. Luckily, there was plenty of room for all of us. On the downside, the service was quite questionable. At next week's meeting, I plan to have a Suggestion Box passed around, so from now until then, please Marsha Mendelovitz put on your thinking cap to come up with some suggestions for the next year in terms of restaurants you would like to go for DAD and anything else you would like to do as a group, i.e. a square dance such as we had last spring. Again, Happy Chanukah, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to the best Corvette Club in the world! Marsha

Flagler County Corvette Club Meetings held monthly at: The Hilton Garden Inn 55 Town Center Blvd. Palm Coast, FL 32164 (Corner of SR-100 & City Center Blvd.) 2nd Monday of each month Paul Kachura President Phone: 631-334-9098 Email: pkvette@yahoo.com Our club was founded in 1998 by a small group of enthusiasts who wanted to share their enjoyment of Corvettes with likeminded people. Over the years the club has grown to what it is today. The club sponsors a wide variety of activities during the year. In addition to our monthly meetings, we try to schedule at least one club event each month including car cruises to Corvette-related shows and events. We hold annual holiday parties and an annual picnic. The highlight of our year, however, is our FCCC Corvette Car Show, "Corvettes at the Beach", where we regularly attract over 200 show car Corvettes from all years, 1953 to present.
