Attention Students interested in a career in veterinary medicine and animal health: The Westminster High FFA Chapter will host an after-school program entitled Visit with a Vet. The program will feature veterinarians, animal healthcare providers, and professionals in the animal health industry sharing their profession in a small group setting. There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, October 4, during FLEX, in Mr. Geiman s room (AG02). The new UNICEF club will hold its first meeting of the year on Thursday, September 27, in Ms. Rambo s room during flex. If you signed up for this club during the first week of school, you should receive an invitation to the meeting, placed in your advisor s mailbox. If you are interested in coming but did not receive an invitation, email Ms. Rambo to be put on the flex list. Service Opportunity: Together We Own It, a local nonprofit, is looking for volunteers to assist at the Westminster Fall Festival September 27th through the 30th. There are many shifts available beginning as early as 6am and going as late as 11pm over the course of the event! Volunteers will be assisting with the corn maze and mini golf course, as well as helping participants with carnival style games in the Kids Zone.
