2017-2018 FLATHEAD COUNTY 4-H SHOOTING SPORTS POSTAL TOURNAMENT 1. GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS: This tournament is open to any member of a Montana shooting sports program. 4-H membership is required to participate and receive awards. 2. A very important clarification is that we want and expect coaching for the skill level of the participant! If you have beginning shooters that need lots of coaching on the line, please do that. As they age and mature in their skills, they should not need as much on the line coaching. 3. Targets will be need to be fired during the 10 week period beginning December 4, 2017 and ending February 18, 2018. You can shoot as many or few weeks as desired, however only shoot one set of targets for postal score. (Don t shoot multiple sets of targets and choose the best score for inclusion in the postal match.) The top six scores turned in during the tournament will be used to award the winners. 4. There will be five divisions: Sporter Rifle Precision Rifle Pistol Archery 5. All ages of Rifle, Pistol and Archery participants will be as of October 1, 2017. 6. COSTS AND SENDING IN REGISTRATION The cost is $10.00 per shooter per discipline. Send registrations and scores to: Match Coordinator, P.O. Box 5026, Kalispell, MT 59901. The e-mail address is: fc4hsspostalmatch@gmail.com. 7. SCORING: 1. National Standard rules are followed by all discilines. 2. Targets are to be scored by a Montana Shooting Sports Leader. If you need help scoring a few targests, contact Don Anderson (406-253-6979). All targets need to be kept on file until March 2, 2018. In case of a challenge, contested targets must be sent into the Sponsor for inspection (otherwise, do not send targets in).

SENDING IN SCORES FOR ALL DISCIPLINES When sending in scores, please include the County on all correspondance. This will make looking up information much easier!!!! Also, please do not send in the targets!!!!! I only need the raw scores. It just makes a mess on my desk and if they get lost in the mail, none of us have any way of getting those back. If you feel it is necessary to send scores via e-mail and also in the regular mail, please indicate that they have also been sent via the other mail. I had some confusion with this in the past. Please register the name and age of each shooter. Send the list and registration money to the SPONSOR listed below. PLEASE REGISTER BY JANUARY 31, 2018.
