The Dearborn Jaguars are affiliated with the Michigan Jaguars, which is widely viewed as the model for player development throughout the state. No other club offers a more comprehensive training curriculum for players of every age and at every level. IF YOUR CHILD IS SELECTED FOR A DEARBORN JAGUARS TEAM Player Registration As soon as possible, please visit our website at www.michiganjaguarsfc.com. Under the TEAMS menu, select Player Registration. It will provide the guidelines to complete/accept your player s selection to the team. Team Kick-Off Meetings: Wed, June 20 and Thurs, June 21 at Total Soccer Wixom The Jaguars hold team kick-off meetings with the coach to provide information for the season, document collection, and uniform sizing. The exact time of each meeting will be posted on our website on the Kick-Off Schedules page under the TRYOUTS menu. Player Profile/2Enroll Pictures We will be taking pictures of players at the kick-off meetings for pass cards and for college recruiting purposes. This is REQUIRED for all players that did not have their picture taken during picture days this past February/March. It is also REQUIRED for all new players. IMPORTANT: Please wear your white jersey if you need your photo taken. Sample jerseys will be available for new players to utilize. Jaguars Uniforms Team uniform requirements and ordering procedures will be available at the kick-off meeting. The players should attend the kick-off meeting since sample uniforms for sizing are available. All Dearborn Jaguars players are required to order the new warm-up top, warm-up pants, backpack, and practice T s. The uniform jerseys, shorts, and socks are the same as in 2017-2018, therefore those items are only required for new Jaguars players. For MRL players, the MRL jersey will be new for the 2018-2019 season. Goalkeeper Jerseys and Goalkeeper Practice T s U13 (2006) and older goalkeepers are provided the club goalkeeper jersey. The goalkeeper jersey is new for the 2018-2019 season. All U13 and older goalkeepers will receive a credit towards their second club dues payment for the jersey. Details will be provided. U13 (2006) and older goalkeepers are required to purchase the selected Goalkeeper long sleeve practice T instead of the short sleeve field player practice T. U12 (2007) and younger players should purchase the short sleeve field player practice T. They have the option to purchase the goalkeeper long sleeve T in addition to the required T. U12 (2007) and younger players will have the option of purchasing the goalkeeper jersey. Note At tryouts players are selected for specific teams, but ultimately are chosen to be part of the Michigan Jaguars organization. In the best interest of player development, the coaching staff may adjust player placements if necessary. Additional details below. Costs Above Include Club Dues - Club Dues are a set amount which is payable online with set due dates as listed above. Club dues include training space, coaching fees, and club administrative costs. Estimated Costs Above Include Team Fees - Team fees are a variable expense unique to each team. Funds are payable directly to the team and collected as needed by the team treasurer. Team fees include indoor league fees, outdoor league fees, tournament expenses, referee fees, and a team donation of $100 to a raffle basket for the Dearborn Jaguars Fundraiser. Estimated Costs Above Do Not Include Uniform Expenses - The warm-up jacket, warm-up pants, backpack, and practice T s are new for the 2018-2019 season. The jerseys, shorts, and socks are the same for 2018-2019 as they were for 2017-2018. The 2018-2019 goalkeeper jersey is new and will be provided to new goalkeepers U13 goalkeepers and older. U12 and younger players have the option of purchasing the goalkeeper jersey. Total Soccer Family Fee - Each family is responsible for this fee based on family usage. Travel Expenses (Not Included in Estimated Costs Above) Travel expenses include family travel and hotel expenses. Some teams have higher travel fees than others. Please refer to the tournament list on our website under the TEAMS menu to estimate the costs for each team. Optional Expenses Which May Be Incurred Extra Player Training - Training classes offered by the Jaguars, such as skill development and finishing, are considered optional. Other Team Expenses - These expenses are unique to each team (i.e. tents, benches, gifts). Jaguar Invitational Team Advertisement Sponsorship - Teams have the option to place a team ad in the Jaguar Invitational tournament booklet. Financial Assistance The Jaguars offer financial assistance to those families whose players would otherwise be unable to play.
