CELEBRATING 23 YEARS OF SINGLES GOLF IN AMERICA Boston Chapter - American Singles Golf Association September 2015 Chapter News Thirty two members gathered for golf and camaraderie on a very hot day this past month. The event was hosted by President Tony Veligor and Marilyn Healy and was open to all current members of the Boston Chapter. We managed to keep our cool on a humid, 90 degree+ day, despite some heated contests on the course. The shamble format kept us moving and the 50/50 raffle made it fun for all. Members are already looking forward to next year s event. Here s what some had to say: This is a great event for the group & I look forward to next years. Thanks to everyone who had a hand in organizing! It was hot as Hades, but our group stuck together - I swear Marie saved my life with that extra ice water bottle. THANKS Thanks Marilyn and Tony and everyone else involved in this event. Despite the heat it was a "cool" day of golf! I enjoyed meeting new members and it was a fun format. Loved this course. My foursome was fun and fabulous. Enjoyed the dinner and prizes. Next time can we get the airconditioned carts? Thanks Tony for a great day. Treasurer s Report Current balance is $2167.07. This includes a payment of $2684.70 for expenses related to the Acushnet River Valley golf event on August 16.
