Conditions of Entry Entrants for the non-qualifying classes must be aged 12 or more (no maximum age) on the day of the competition. Non-BRC members must have their own insurance. We recommend you follow the BRC requirements for safety standards of hats and body protectors. Your passport will NOT be checked, but it is illegal to travel your horse without it. The dressage tests are the same for open classes as for the BRC qualifying sections at the same height and can be downloaded from: www.bhs.org.uk/enjoy-riding/british-riding-clubs/brc-downloads/brc-tests Hard Hats: Hats must be worn correctly fastened at all times when mounted in accordance with 2018 British Riding Club Rules. Medical Arm Bands are compulsory and back protectors bearing a purple Beta Level 3 2009 or later must be worn on the cross country phase in accordance with 2018 British Riding Club Rules. All competitors in Area 18 Qualifying Classes must have hats bearing the turquoise BRC, BE or PC tag. This event is being run under 2018 Riding Club Rules please check for recent rule amendments on the BRC website. Minimum 20.00 deposit for number bibs. Please DO NOT remove numbers. The decisions of the judges and/or the official stewards are final. If cancelled administrative fees will be taken out of the refund. The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards. No entry fee will be refunded after the closing date without a doctor s or vet s certificate. No horse or pony may have practised on any of the obstacles of this course during the ten days prior to the event. No horse may compete in 2 classes. NOTES TO BRC AREA 18 TEAM MANAGERS Please remind your riders to bring their horses vaccination certificates/passports with them. If no certificate is produced on request it could incur disqualification and it is illegal to travel your horse to the competition without its passport.
