Rotax 125 DD2 MAX & DD2 Masters Registration fee $1,375 Slick tires included and allowed: 2 sets of MOJO D5 Entries limited to a total of 34 drivers for DD2/DD2 Masters combined Options: Thursday practice: $75.00 Transponder rental: $50.00 Drivers Briefing Drivers briefings are mandatory and all drivers must attend. Either they appear on the schedule or are called during the event on the Public Announcement system. Presence will be controlled physically or electronically. For this reason, drivers must have their credentials with them at the briefing. Super Pole After the qualifying session, the top 6 qualifiers will move up to the Super Pole session. Each of the top 6 qualifiers will enter the track for a warm-up lap, two (2) hot laps and a cool down lap from in order from position 6 th to 1st. The final scoring of the top six qualifiers will be done according to the results of the Super Pole with no regards to the result achieved during the regular qualifying session. Paddock Competitors must receive authorization from the event staff before setting up their pit space. There are no restrictions for type of vehicle in the paddock, any motorized vehicle must be operated by someone 16 years of age or older. Aisle may not be blocked to allow emergency vehicle to access. From Thursday July 5th, each team will be allowed one vehicle in their pit area. This vehicle must be contained in your assigned pit area. Any violation of this policy will result in a $150 fine. Paddock fee is thirty cents per square foot ($0,30/sq ft). Registration Online Registration opens on May 22 nd at 12:00 pm EDT and will close on June 30 th at 12:00 pm EDT or earlier if the class you want to register in has already reached the entry cap of that class. Online registration can be found at www.gorotax.com. After June 15 th, 12:00 EDT. A late fee of $250 will apply. After closing of online registration, if the cap of your class has not been reached, registration can be done onsite according to the Event schedule. The $250 late fee will apply to all onsite registrations. Engines a) Engines must be run with only the supplied accessories and components. Examples, but not limited to: engine block, exhaust, coil and ECU, cable harness, carburetor, spark plug cap. Version 3, July 3rd, 2018 Page 4 of 8

b) Spark plug type (The NGK (GRDI) is the only allowed plug type. Mini MAX heat range 8 NGK GRD8I All other classes heat range 9 NGK GDRD9I c) For the first practice session for run in purposes, it s mandatory to run the following main jets: Main Jet: DD2 and DD2 Masters 145 needle position 4. Micro/Mini MAX, JR MAX, SR Max and Max Masters 130 needle position 4 Note: It is the Competitors responsibility to ensure the correct Main jet and needle position is set prior to the first practice session. If an engine failure occurs in the first practice session and the correct fixed jet and needle position is not in use, the competitor agrees the engine warrantee is not valid and is responsible for the repair costs. (Simply claiming we didn t check or this is how it was supplied is not a valid excuse). Event Fuel and Oil Fuel The mandatory fuel for the event is the Sunoco GT260 available onsite. A 5 gallon voucher is included with your registration. Oil The mandatory oil for all Rotax Max classes is XPS. One quart is included with your registration). Tires Slick tires For practice a maximum of 2 sets of slick tires are allowed to be used in any class, starting from the 4 th practice on Thursday until the qualifying session on Friday. For the first three practices on Thursday, tires will not be controlled. From the qualifying session, only tires included in the registration can be used. For all classes, excepted Micro/Mini MAX, competitors may use their eight official tires as they wish. All tires, including controlled practice tires, MUST be barcoded and readable by the tire scanner. Wet tires (optional purchase) Only MOJO W3 wet tires can be used during the practice day of during the event. A maximum of two sets of wet tires can be registered by the competitors for the entire event, including Thursday and Friday practice. Wet tires must be barcode readable by tire scanners. Wet tires must be registered (marked) before first use on the track or at the latest during the tire marking session planned in the schedule. No wet tire marking will be allowed after the end of the tire marking session on the schedule. Wet tires registered to a driver can only be used in practice or racing by this registered driver. Classes Model Sizes Tires allowed for the whole Micro/Mini MAX W3 Front: 4.5/10.0 5 Rear: 4.5/10.0 5 All other classes W3 Front: 4.5/10.0 5 Rear: 6.0/11.0 5 event including practice days. 2 2 Parc Fermé There is no Parc Fermé for this event. Cameras One camera may be installed on the competitor s kart according to 2018 US RMC Technical Regulations. Images from the competitor s camera are for personal use only and cannot be submitted to event officials to support an investigation, protest or appeal. Only the event cameras will be used by officials regarding officials decisions. The event organizer or officials may install a camera on a competitor s kart at any time as they see fit, including for promotion purposes. Sealed Grid Sealed grid, as described in the 2018 Sporting Regulation, will not be enforced for practice or warm up sessions. Sealed grid will be enforced for qualifying and racing sessions. Quiet Rule The Quiet Rule will be enforced for this event starting on Friday morning, July 6 th. No engine can run outside the pre-grid according to the Quiet Rule specifications without special permission from the technical inspector. All other areas are restricted from running engines including you paddock space, tech, scales, aisle ways etc. Anyone not following this rule is subject to a $200 fine for the first offence and further penalty for following offences which can include track penalty up to the exclusion of the event. Controlled Practices Optional controlled practice will take place on Thursday July 5 th. Official controlled practice will take place on Friday July 6 th. See event schedule. Hot Pit There is no Hot Pit during this event. Version 3, July 3rd, 2018 Page 6 of 8

Event Scoring and Prizes Podiums: Drivers finishing in position 1, 2 and 3 of the final races will receive a trophy. Class prizes: Micro/Mini MAX: 2 invitations to participate at the 2018 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals will be awarded. One invitation to the competitor with the best result in the final race for the 8 10 age group to race at the Grand Finals in the Micro-MAX class and one invitation will be awarded to the best result for the 10 13 age group to participate at 2018 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals in the Mini MAX class. In the case the two award winners are eligible to race at the Grand Finals in either classes, the competitor with the best result in the final race will have the choice to select which class he wants to race at the Grand Finals. Junior MAX, Senior MAX and DD2 classes: 2 invitations to participate at 2018 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals in each of these classes. The first invitation will be awarded to the winner of the final race. If the winner of the final race is an American competitor, the second invitation will be awarded to the runner up. If the winner of the final race is not an American competitor, the second invitation for the Grand Finals will be awarded to the American competitor having the best result in the final race. MAX Masters and DD2 Masters: The winner of the final race will receive one invitation to participate at the 2018 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals in the DD2 Masters class. Length of Races See the official schedule of the event. Sporting Regulation For all classes, the 2018 US RMC Sporting Regulations will be used with the modifications contained in these Event Supplementary regulations. GoRotax may utilize the CIK rulebook at any time for enforcement or clarification. Technical Regulation All classes will utilize the 2018 US RMC Rule Books. Precedence of Regulations The precedence of Regulations shall be as follows (in order of precedence) 1. Sporting regulations: The 2018 US RMC Sporting regulations; 2. Technical regulations: The 2018 US RMC Technical regulations and 125 MAX Mini appendix; 3. Pre-event sporting and technical bulletins; 4. Event Supplementary Regulations; 5. Event Bulletins; 6. Instructions from approved Officials; In case of matters not covered by the above regulation, event officials are entitle to refer to the CIK- FIA regulations or precedents from previous GoRotax events. Technical Inspection All competitors will be required to complete a Self-Declaration Technical Inspection form provided in the registration packet. This completed form must be presented to Technical officials before the time set in the Event Schedule. Chassis Eligibility CIK homologated 2009 or newer, GoRotax, WKA or SKUSA approved. Brake discs must be steel, stainless steel or cast iron. All competitors will receive one chassis seal in the registration packet. The seal must be installed on the chassis main tube near the throttle pedal (right side) before qualifying. Official Posting Board The Official Posting Board is located in front of the Steward office (main building). Protest and appeal fees If a competitor wants to officially Protest a decision from the officials, he or she must follow the regulations included in the 2018 US RMC regulations. The Protest fee for this event is two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) payable cash when the Protest is filed. In the case where a competitor wants to Appeal a decision made on a Protest, he or she must follow the regulations included in the 2018 US RMC regulations. The Appeal fee for this event is one thousand dollars ($1000.00) payable cash when the Appeal is filed. All decisions taken by the Appeal Board or the event are final and no further action of any kind may be taken by the competitor who appealed. Version 3, July 3rd, 2018 Page 8 of 8
