Since our arrival in the Middle East in Spring 2013, Braemar Adjusting has issued professional service standards and reporting protocols to all clients and we promise to meet these standards as a minimum on any instruction we are appointed. As part of Braemar Technical Services, our Loss Adjusters can utilise in-house experts from the Technical Services Division to provide an international emergency response, and defined technical support where required. For example, this integrated approach enables the use of Braemar Howells on pollution related claims and Braemar Engineering on losses involving LNG & GTL plants. Risk Assessment 04 Services Using our in-house engineers and specialist consultants, Braemar Adjusting also provides Risk Surveying and Assessment Services in connection with a variety of construction and operational insurances throughout the Middle East and North Africa.

Growth Regions Iraq Braemar Adjusting Middle East provides specialist Loss Adjusting and Surveying services for Iraq in conjunction with our Local Resource Partner, Middle East Shipping Surveys Company (MESSCo), a Jordanian headquartered organisation specialising in Loss Adjusting and Marine & Energy Surveying. MESSCo operate in Iraq with a resident team of eleven qualified, multi-disciplinary engineers serving the three strategic Iraqi provinces of Baghdad, Basra and Erbil. The team has unprecedented experience and knowledge of Iraq s Oil & Gas Fields, Refining & Gas Processing Facilities along with the country s Pipeline, Tanker Terminal and Power Plant infrastructure. The principal contact and Managing Director at MESSCo is Ali Al-Aqrabawi, a multi-lingual licensed Loss Adjuster. Ali served as a Member of the United Nations Oil Experts Team in Iraq where he assessed all Upstream, Downstream and Transportation assets to determine the requirements to increase Iraq s petroleum production to assist the country s economic recovery post Gulf War conflict. Growth Regions East Africa Braemar Adjusting provides specialist Loss Adjusting services for East Africa in conjunction with Mardee Services Limited, a Kenya based company recognised as a leading regional Loss Adjusting, Risk Surveying and Claims Management practice. In addition to Kenya, Mardee operates in Eritrea, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. Mardee s expertise is based on over 25 years working experience in the East Africa region, representing both local and international insurance markets in all aspects of claims handling arising from marine, property, contractors all risks, liability and special risks, supported by qualified multi-disciplined personnel.
