November Is Fine Forgiveness Month Turn your fines into food for needy families at the Livingston Parish Library in November! Livingston Parish Library is sponsoring a Fine Forgiveness Month from Wednesday, November 1 to Thursday, November 30. Participating in Fine Forgiveness Month is easy. Bring in non-perishable food items to one of our five Livingston Parish Library branches, and we will waive $1.00 owed on library fines per item. All food items will be donated to Mighty Moms, an organization that fights to eradicate childhood hunger in Livingston Parish. Please take your donations to the front desk of any branch to dismiss your fines. The items will then be placed in a Mighty Moms bin located at the branch. Food donations will only be taken in place of fines. Donations will not be accepted in place of lost book bills or other charges. Livingston Parish Library will not give change for food items donated. Please call any of our five branches or visit mylpl.info/food-for-fines for details.
