CODE OF CONDUCT 2017/18 Season Please Note: All managers, coaches, players, parents & supporters should read and are bound by this Code of Conduct, whilst managing, coaching or supporting AFC Lightning. Serious breaches may mean action being taken against you that could jeopardise your status within AFC Lightning. Thank you for your co-operation. THE TEAM MANAGER/TEAM COACHES/HELPERS SHOULD-: Attempt to set a positive example all others to follow. Promote & develop the team having regard for the best interests of the players & supporters and the reputation of team/club & the national game. Share your knowledge & experience when invited to do so. Avoid all forms of gamesmanship. Not use or tolerate inappropriate/inflammatory language, gestures or sarcasm. Make every effort to develop the sporting, technical & tactical levels of the team, and to obtain the best possible results using all permitted means. Give priority to the interests of the team over individual interests. Resist all illegal or unsporting influences. Promote ethical & non-racist, non-sexist principles. Show due respect to the players, coaches & supporters of all teams. Show due respect and accept the decisions of the match officials without undue protest. Avoid words or actions that may mislead a match official. Never bring AFC Lightning into disrepute. PLAYERS SHOULD-: Show due respect to managers, coaches, supporters players & match officials at all times. Make every effort to be punctual & correctly equipped/dressed for training & matches. Make every effort to be attentive & develop abilities in terms of skill, technique, tactics & stamina. Set a positive example & strive for your best possible performance - both in training & matches. Avoid all forms of gamesmanship, including time-wasting & feigning injury. Never criticise the mistakes of your fellow players. Never use inappropriate language or gestures. Make every effort to be consistent with Fair Play & the Laws of the Game. Know & abide by the Laws, roles & spirit of the game, and/or the competition rules. Success & failure, victory & defeat in an appropriate & sporting way. Never bring AFC Lightning into disrepute. PARENTS/SPECTATORS SHOULD-: Accept the jurisdiction of the manager, coaches & helpers during matches, training & socials. Show due respect to managers, players, coaches, players & match officials at all times. Encourage & applaud effort, performance & good sporting behaviour - more than the result. Maintain & give clear examples of appropriate standards of behaviour at all times. Look for aspects to applaud & praise less-talented or 'struggling' players - or players who might otherwise be overlooked. Judge players by their efforts & skills and not by their failures or deficits. Always remember that children do not mean to make mistakes. AND SHOULD NOT -: Abuse or argue with managers, coaches, players or match officials. Abuse, comment negatively or chastise a player for a mistake on the field of play. Attempt to 'coach' or 'manipulate' players while they are playing. Offer 'tactical advice' to a player that may contradict the manager s game plan. Use inappropriate language, gestures, sarcasm, racism, sexism or become violent. Attempt to 'referee' a game by appealing for free kicks, off-sides etc. Bring AFC Lightning into disrepute

DRAW TICKET Your Number: AFC LIGHTNING FOOTBALL CLUB Members 50/50 Club THE AIM We need your help to raise some much needed funds for our club, whilst also giving you the chance to win a prize at the end of each month! HOW IT WORKS As members of the 50/50 Club, you will pay a monthly amount of just 4 by standing order. The number you are given in return (see top right corner of this form) is entered into a draw at the end of each month, giving you a chance to win a prize! THE FUNDS RAISED Typically 50% of the funds will be paid out on prizes and the remaining 50% will be invested back into the club towards training equipment etc! AFC MEMBERS 50/50 CLUB RULES 1. The name of the draw is called AFC members 50/50 Club regardless of the number of members. Hereafter, referred to as 50/50 Club. 2. The 50/50 Club will be operated under the gaming Act 2005 and is registered as a small society lottery with Wycombe District Council. 3. The objective of the 50/50 Club is to raise funds for the general purpose of AFC Lightning Football Club. 4. The subscription to the 50/50 Club for one draw number shall be 4 per month, payable by standing order in advance on the first day of each month. This will give members one number which will then be placed into a draw each month. Draw numbers shall sequentially be numbered from one (1) onwards. This number shall remain the member s throughout, provided that their subscription is up to date. 5. Members may have more than one number, for an additional 4 per month per number. 6. A member is eligible for inclusion in the draw so long as the subscription for that month has been paid. 7. Making payments to join the 50/50 Club directly by standing order into the AFC 50/50 Club account deems that participants agree to the 50/50 Club rules. 8. The 50/50 Club is open to members of AFC Lightning, and all family, friends and supporters, aged 16 or over. 9. There shall be one prize draw per month. The draw for each month shall be made as close to the end of each month as arrangements reasonably allow. The draws will be made in the presence of at least two members of AFC. 10. The total income collected will be split 50% prize money and 50% to AFC funds, after modest running costs have been removed. Running costs should not exceed 5% of the monthly total of 50/50 Club income. From that 50% prize monthly income, there will be 3 month prizes: First prize 30%, Second prize 15%, Third prize 5%. 11. The winners of each draw will be announced on the AFC Lightning website, along with the winning numbers. Winner s cheques will be sent directly to them. Any cheques not cashed within 6 months will be deemed a donation to AFC Lightning. 12. Member s details will be held on record for 50/50 Club purposes only. 13. The 50/50 Club will commence in December 2012, providing a minimum of 30 (draw numbers) have been allocated by the date of the first draw. If the 50/50 Club does not run then any amounts received in respect of the 50/50 Club will be refunded. 14. The AFC members 50/50 Club reserves the right to make changes to the rules as it sees fit.
