Pavement Management Program Treatments Slurry Seal / Micro Surfacing (70-85) an application of liquid asphalt emulsion, aggregate, and additive fillers to provide improved skid resistance and extend the remaining service life by sealing out water penetration and oxidation Cape Seal (60-75) a two part treatment first consisting of an application of tar and chip (liquid asphalt and small stones used to fill cracks) followed by a slurry seal or micro surfacing to provide improved skid resistance and seal the road surface

Pasadena Road Sidewalk Project description: Installation of traffic calming devices to include: Median islands along Pasadena Road at approximately 300 east of Ken-Mar Avenue (near school) and 150 west of Lake Waterford Park entrance Raised intersection at Pasadena Road and Penny Lane Installation and reconstruction of approximately 5,300 linear feet of ADA compliant sidewalk to provide a continuous sidewalk from MD 2 (Ritchie Highway) to MD 648 (Waterford road) Construction of associated curb and gutter and driveway aprons along the south side of Pasadena Road Installation of storm drain inlets and pipe Installation of stormwater management facilities Repaving of Pasadena Road Traffic will be managed by closing one travel lane during off-peak traffic hours. (Peak hours are 7am to 9am and 4pm to 7pm.) There will be isolated water service interruptions to allow for relocating water meters and water services where these conflict with the proposed work
