This year we are excited to offer our dancers four distinctly different opportunities to perform throughout the year. Dancers have the option of participating in a fall community performance, winter showcase, spring community performance and end of the year recital. Although performances are totally optional, because they are a critical part of goal setting, achievement, and building confidence most of our families choose to participate in performances. To streamline & simplify things, upon starting dance classes you ll have the opportunity to select which performances you d like your dancer to participate in. Please make your selection by Sept 16, 2017! When you select which performances your dancer is going to participate in, you can choose to pay the associated cost in full or you can pay the performance cost in equal installments collected on Oct 1st, Nov 15th, Jan 15th, and Feb 15th. To give a reprieve for the holidays we will skip Dec. For planning purposes the winter showcase and recital dates are usually finalized in September/ October. As a heads up, we're looking at Dec 9th for the winter showcase and May 26th for the recital. For the spring community performance we are generally able to give 60-90 days notice. If you feel like selecting the shows your dancer will participate in at one time would be beneficial but are worried about not knowing the exact dates, don t worry, we will have a refund policy. If you notify us in writing to dance@dancedynamixonline.com w/in 48 hours of the show dates being announced that you have a conflict a full refund will be issued. 2017 Fall Community Performance Information Sat Oct 7th --Bowie International Festival -- 3330 Northview Dr, Bowie, Md 20716-11am - 5pm exact time TBD Dance Dynamix is excited to participate in this years Bowie International Festival. Therefore, each class performs one dance in the winter showcase. How we choose the costumes: We have a team of staff members that meet to select costumes based on the song choice, style of the dance, age of the students and what we know will present well on stage under the lights. Each member has different tastes and ideas so if they can all agree on a costume selection we are confident it is the best costume choice for that particular dance. One person may love a costume and another may hate it. If the costume is not your favorite this year, it may be next year! Please trust us on costume selection!
