Sabine Medical Officer: Dr Sunil RACE 1: HAHN 3.5 MAIDEN - 1400M The start of this race was delayed approximately three minutes due to the late arrival of the Ambulance on course. Routine specimens were taken from the winner BALBOA S GIRL. Correct weight was delayed whilst Jockey C. Haddon (FEARHILDI) viewed the patrol film in the straight before deciding not to lodge an objection. CUSTOMISE Raced wide for the majority of the event. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. ALDO RAINE Bounded on jumping, losing two lengths. FREEDOM BY CHOICE Carried wide by another runner near the 700m and raced wide thereafter. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. SILVER DANORO - Commenced awkwardly. Lay outwards throughout. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. BALBOA'S GIRL Lay outwards passing the 100m. EMBASSY GARDENS Raced wide throughout. Lay inwards in the straight. JENABEL Lay outwards passing the 100m. RACE 2: RED FM MAIDEN - 1200M Routine specimens were taken from the winner PHAROAH S TRIUMPH. ELVIS LIVES Impeded for clear running from on straightening until approaching the 150m. MINDARRA Raced wide from the 700m. GOLDEN ACRES - Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. YOU ARE IDYLLIC Raced wide throughout. OANIT Impeded for clear running from on straightening until approaching the 150m. SILVER ZAPATO Impeded for a short distance on straightening and then again approaching the 300m and taken inwards to secure running. WENDY LYNNE Lay outwards throughout. Rider reported that the mare lay outwards throughout. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. MAGIC MERIT Approaching the 600m was steadied when close to heels and impeded for a short distance on straightening. STOCKYARD GOSSIP Rider reported that the filly raced greenly throughout.
GERALDTON : 27.11.16 92/2 RACE 3: RACING FRIDAY DECEMBER 16TH MAIDEN - 1200M HEY SARGE Stood flat footed as the start was effected, losing three lengths. Trainer Mr A. Hughes advised that it was his intention to remove the winkers from the gelding for its future starts in an attempt to rectify its starting manner. NORTH BROCADE Bumped heavily and carried inwards shortly after the start. TINTILLY Raced wide throughout. STERLING HIGHWAY Proved cantankerous in its preliminary. Compounded from the 700m. A post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer Mr G. Hammarquist advised that it is his intention to only race the mare at Landor for future starts. PATRONELLE Raced wide for the majority of the event. FLIRTALICIOUS Angled inwards at the 300m to obtain clear running and shortly after was disappointed for a clear passage and as a result was angled outwards at the 150m for clear running. PSIONICS Shifted inwards despite the efforts of its rider on jumping, bumping with another runner. RACE 4: TEAM SADOWSKI/ NEVILL HANDICAP - 1200M The start of this race was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to other Sky Racing commitments. L'RONDINE Raced wide for the majority of the event. Lay inwards passing the 200m. BABIECA NOIRE Slow into stride, losing one length. In relation to the gelding s performance, rider stated that in his opinion it was not suited to the decrease in distance of today s event. FULL CLIP Raced keenly through the early and middle stages. OUR MANTLE On return to scale the gelding baulked with the rider being dislodged. Apprentice T. Stone (OUR MANTLE) was subsequently examined by the Club s Medical Officer and declared unfit to fulfil her remaining riding engagements. Apprentice Stone will require a medical clearance prior to riding again. RACE 5: BUNBURY MOTEL & SERVICED APARTMENTS HANDICAP - 1100M Routine specimens were taken from the winner CHARLIE S JOY. PARIS OF TROY Raced keenly through the early and middle stages and when approaching the 700m steadied from the heels of another runner. NAHGO Raced wide on straightening. CHARLIE'S JOY Impeded for a short distance near the 200m. In relation to the apparent improved performance, Trainer Mr A. Hughes advised that in his opinion the gelding, after being freshened up, had a favourable run throughout which contributed to its improved performance today. Trainer further advised that it was now his intention to race the gelding over an increased distance for its future starts. BRUTUS ADONIS Raced wide throughout. MUSKETALIFE Raced wide from the 600m. RACE 6: GWN HANDICAP - 1200M Routine specimens were taken from the winner SASSE DE BLISHK. HAPPY LANE Raced keenly through the early and middle stages. Raced wide throughout. RED SKY RULER Eased from heels of another runner near the 700m and lost ground. YOU'RE UP Blocked for clear running for the majority of the straight and when passing the 100m was steadied from the heels of another runner.
GERALDTON : 27.11.16 92/3 Race 6 Continued MORE THAN PERFECT Raced keenly through the early and middle stages. Raced in restricted room getting its head in the air and shifted outwards abruptly. Due to the racing manner of the gelding, Trainer Mr P. Ferguson was advised that he is to engage the services of a senior rider for its future starts. DYNAMIC EXPRESS Lay inwards passing the 700m. SASSE DE BLISHK Slow into stride, losing one length. CARNATIC RULER Raced in restricted room from the 300m and then again at the 200m. TOUCH THE NET Impeded for clear running from on straightening until passing the 150m. General: Stewards inquired into the reason for RED SKY RULER (K. Fitzgerald) having to ease from heels, losing ground passing the 700m. It was established that through this section of the race MORE THAN PERFECT (F. Kersley) which was racing keenly, had improved into restricted room and as a result threw its head in the air and shifted outwards abruptly resulting in the above interference. Stewards noted that the racing manner of MORE THAN PERFECT was the major contributing factor to the above interference and as such Trainer Mr P. Ferguson was advised to engage the services of a senior rider for its future starts. RACE 7: MITCHELL & BROWN HANDICAP - 1400M Due to no apprentice rider being available, permission was granted for Jockey Jerry Noske to replace Apprentice T. Stone (dislodged in Race 4) on SCENIC LORD. CHARLIE'S CHICK was a late withdrawal by Stewards at 4:18pm acting on Veterinary advice when the mare was found to be lame in the near fore. Stewards subsequently ordered that all monies wagered on CHARLIE S CHICK ($26) be refunded in full and with regard to betting with bookmakers all successful wagers made prior to 4:18pm to be subject to the following deductions in the dollar on the face value of the ticket: 1 st ) VITAL POWER less 0c win and 2c place 2 nd ) ERNIE BOY less 4c place 3 rd ) ASSETS N CASH less 4c place Trainer Mr E. Parsons was advised that CHARLIE S CHICK would require a Veterinary Certificate of Soundness prior to racing or trialling again. Routine specimens were taken from the winner VITAL POWER. MILITARY MIGHT Knuckled on jumping. SCENIC LORD Bumped at the start. TAQWAA - Commenced awkwardly and bumped. Shoeing Change: ERNIE BOY Shock Tamer On (Off fore) RACE 8: PURCHER INTERNATIONAL HANDICAP - 1600M TERIREM Raced wide throughout. DOUBLE DIGIT - Fractious in the barriers prior to the start and as a result lunged forward making contact with its barrier partition. TAME IMPALA Slow into stride, losing two lengths. RACE 9: GET THE TABTOUCH HANDICAP - 1800M SUCCESS STORY - Commenced awkwardly. Raced wide from the 800m. In relation to the performance, rider advised that the gelding felt uncomfortable during running. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have ruptured the near fore tendon. Trainer Mr A. Maley advised that it is now his intention to retire the gelding. Rider was cautioned for allowing his mount to shift inwards resulting in another runner being carried inwards and advised that in

FLEETING GLANCE Raced wide through the early and middle stages. SOBRIQUET Raced wide for the majority of the event. WING COMMANDER Underwent a pre-race Veterinary examination due to the gelding being fractious in its transport en-route to the course and was passed fit to start. BLACK COBA Bumped inwards passing the 300m. GALAXY BLAZE Raced wide from the 600m. In relation to the apparent improved performance, Trainer Ms J. Martin advised that the step up in distance had contributed to today s winning performance. ROCKER CHICK - Commenced awkwardly. Mis-strode and steadied on straightening. When approaching the 50m was disappointed for a clear run and eased. GENERAL Stewards intend to interview Apprentice Sarah Bonner regarding her failure to advise Stewards or the Racing Department that she was unfit and unable to fulfil her riding engagements today.
