The President writes; Hi Guys, Not much to report on at present. Good to see that the charter boat got out for the March competition weekend, although we would still love to see a full crew of members rather than rely on visitors to keep the activity alive. The weigh in attendance for March was good but we really would like to see a better participation in fishing from more members. Thanks to Mick O, Devo and Plumb for assisting with food preparation and weigh-in raffle. We have confirmed a charter for the Greenwell Point trip in September. Please try and get along to our club raffles held at the hotel on Thursday evenings from 5.30pm and the Saturday raffles from 2pm. Note we will not have the Saturday raffle on the Easter weekend. Nice to see we have had quite guys put their hand up for the Bunnings Sausage sizzle on the 7 th May, I will detail a roster in the April newsletter. Please keep an eye out for activities at clubs and entertainment venues that we can coordinate the midyear function around, any good ideas greatly appreciated. Don t forget if you re a member and would like to advertise your business or table something in our newsletter and website you re most welcome. FYI, the club house now has FOX, so you can get a look at a footy match on Saturdays as well as the Gee,Gees. See ya all meeting night.
