Welcome to Cheer Command Rockets Allstar Cheerleading 2014-2015 Thank you for your interest in Cheer Command Rockets. At Cheer Command (CCR) we are dedicated to training our Cheerleaders to excel in competition, build self-esteem, promote sportsmanship and develop life long skills, such as leadership and teamwork. This packet contains vital information about our organization including an introduction to our teams, fees, gym rules, practice/competition rules and regulations, and what is expected from our team members and their families. Though our coaching methods are just one of the thousands of different styles, we feel that it is the best way to progress through this highly competitive activity. As you, the parent will soon find out, this is not a recreational hobby. Our squads are strictly competition teams. Cheer Command Rockets take cheerleading to heart. We dedicate ourselves in assuring the success of all of our teams. The squad s primary focus will be to prepare for and compete in local and national competitions. During the course of the year, the squads will focus on all of the components of cheerleading including tumbling, jumps, motions, pyramids, partner stunts, dance, sportsmanship and teamwork. CCR teams attend between 7-10 competitions per season depending on age levels. Several of our competitions are local; however, some teams will travel to 3-4 out of state competitions. Some teams also make public appearances. We are looking forward to an outstanding season. Please help us by following the guidelines set forth in this packet. Thank you and Good Luck! CCR Staff

CHEER COMMAND COMMUNICATION We, Cheer Command, feel that communication between the staff, parents and athletes is very important in maintaining a great relationship. We do our best to keep you informed in a timely manner. Information that is important to your athlete may be found on our website www.cheercommand.com or will be posted on team facebooks. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PARENT AND ATHLETE TO CHECK FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND UPDATES ON THE TEAM FACEBOOK! Loyalty to Cheer Command, Inc. is what will make us even better. Our staff is loyal both to the athlete and to the cause. In return, we see a dedication from our parents also. Loyalty is just one factor that helps us achieve our goals. If at any time you feel that your loyalty to our company diminishes for any reason, please come to the Cheer Command Staff, before you go to other parents or those outside of Cheer Command. This can lead to false information being circulated and does not represent Rockets in the manner that we would like.
