On Friday morning, February 5th, Jordan Creek was rising and flowing over the driveway near the Combat Pistol Range, by 2 PM, the water was 12 deep and 80 wide across the driveway. The 50 yard Range was under water and the area in front was a pond. The Ranges were closed as the conditions were getting worse as the rains continued. By the weekend, the ranges were still closed, the creek was still flowing with high water, and the 50 yard range was under water, it would take some work to restore the driveway to a passable condition. Thanks to Bill Hagan, who helped me right the ship. We were fortunate that the ranges did not have as much damage as it looked like we might have to the driveway and the ranges. This could have been much worse!, Jerry Heavrin, Secretary. We opened the ranges later in the morning on Monday, Feb 9th, after some cleanup. We have scheduled a WORK DAY for the Ranges to Clean-up, install new targets & target stands, on Sunday, March 8th, 2015 @ 1:00 PM to Closing. During this time the ranges will be closed to allow for the cleanup.. Please come & help out, there is work for all, bring gloves and let us have fun in the grounds improvement.
