NO ACTION REQUIRED AT THIS TIME. A letter from the Town of Tillsonburg asking the Town of Bracebridge to endorse their resolution to the Premier of Ontario and the Ministries of the Environment and Energy to amend the proposed legislation to allow municipalities some latitude in the methods used to achieve the desired objectives for reduction of waste transferred to waste sites, including the collection of recyclable material at collection depots. The Committee was advised that a meeting has been scheduled for July 27 to co-ordinate the parking options for the Rosewarne parking lot. GIVEN THE CHANGE IN FUNDING, THE COMMITTEE ASKED THAT THE DISTRICT REVIEW THE NEED IN THE AREA FOR A SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM BY TAKING A COUNT OF THE QUALITY OF THE EXISTING SEPTIC SYSTEMS.
