1.4 Insurance Certain public, property, professional indemnity and personal accident insurance is provided by CAMS in relation to the Event. Further details can be found in the CAMS Insurance Handbook, available at www.cams.com.au Every entrant and driver must sign the Disclaimers and Entrants Statement on the Entry Form before taking part in any competition Event. This shall include a statement attesting that the entered vehicle conforms to its applicable eligibility criteria and is in a fit state for the proposed competition. Officials must sign on every day of the event. 2 Entries 2.1 Drivers Competitors and drivers must hold the minimum of a CAMS Provisional Clubman Circuit License PCC. (Time Challenge competitors and drivers only a minimum of a CAMS L2S License is required) 2.2 Classes and Categories of Automobiles Admitted The competition will be conducted for the below classes of automobile accordance with 2017 CAMS WA Motor Race Championship Sporting Regulations. F1000 Formula Vee Formula Ford Excel Cup Formula Classic Sports Sedans, Sports Cars Street Cars Holden HQ Historic Touring Cars & Invited Classes Improved Production Cars Time Challenge/Regularity 2.3 Entry Lodgment Entries open on publication of these Supplementary Regulation. Entry forms are to be lodged Via the CAMS online entry system www.cams.com.au (Member Portal) before the closing time and date 4pm 10/09/2018. With the submission of their entry, the Competitors give their agreement, also on behalf of their Drivers, Pit Crew and Sponsors, that the Organiser may record all activities in connection with the Event and have them transmitted by radio, television or other media: no claims against the Organiser or the transmission company may be raised. Attendance at the Race Office prior to the Driver s qualifying session is still necessary for those Competitors who wish to add Pit Crew to their form. Entries with incomplete or incorrect information will not be accepted. Late Entries: May be accepted at the discretion of the Event Promotor, up to 48 hours after the Event closing date. All entries accepted under this circumstance, will incur a rear of field (ROF) starting position for race 1 and race 2, in the category entered for the nominated Driver of that automobile. The Promotor will not consider any request to amend the Supplementary Regulations to allow late entry beyond the provisions within these Supplementary Regulations 2

2.4 Entry Fees 2018 Racing Entry (WASCC Member) $240.00 Racing Entry $300.00 Formula Vee (WASCC Member) $400.00 (2 days) Formula Vee $500.00 (2 days) Time Challenge/Regularity (WASCC Member) $150.00 Time Challenge/Regularity $200.00 Relief Driver $75.00 to the same car Dorian Hire per driver $25.00 payable with entry fee Carport Hire $40.00 Please Note: All Entry Fees MUST be paid on or prior to the closing date of entries of the Event. (NCR 76 (ii) & NCR 81) Any withdrawal made prior to the Event closing date, will be entitled to a full refund if payment has been made. Those received after the Event closing date, yet 24 hours prior to the Event starting, will incur a $50 fee. The balance of monies paid minus this fee will be held in credit. Any withdrawal received within the final 24-hour period will not be entitled to any credit or refund. All Competitors hiring a Dorian Timer will be required to pay a $50 (refundable) deposit on collection from the Time Keepers. Acceptance and Oversubscribed Entries Where drivers exceed the track density for the category entered they shall be culled as per the CAMS WA Motor Race Championship Sporting Regulations. Competitors will be given the option to receive conditional acceptance and be placed on a reserve entries list, in the event that another competitor withdraws. Competitors who do not accept this option will receive a full refund of the entry fee paid. 2.5 Refusal of Entries The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry in accordance with NCR 83. Where a category does not present a minimum of 12 automobiles to qualifying, WASCC reserve the right to reduce each race by up to 25% of the original scheduled distance. Where a category does not present a minimum of 9 automobiles to qualifying, amalgamation with another category (where possible) will be sort, before cancelling that category s event. Should a category be cancelled, Competitors shall be entitled to a full credit or refund. 2.6 Nomination of Drivers The Competitor or Driver must advise the Secretary of the Meeting at least one hour before the commencement of practice or qualifying as to which Driver will start the qualifying session or race when two or more Drivers are nominated on an Entry Form. 2.7 General Competitors, Drivers and Pit Crew are required to obey all instructions by the Organiser, the Clerk of the Course and Officials. Trailers, tow trucks & transporters are not to be parked in the paddock area. Loading of automobiles must only be done after the last race of the day. Golf buggies and WASCC approved modes of transport ONLY (other than your feet) are permitted in the paddock area. Automobiles may be loaded prior to the last event in the trailer compound north of the groundsmans shed or south of the Fastlane shed. Failure to adhere to these safety requirement may see the competitor charged. a) Where a category does not achieve a minimum of 12 entries presented for Event qualifying, their event laps will be reduced to 6, 6, 8. b) Where a category does not achieve a minimum of 9 entries presented for Event qualifying, amalgamation with another suitable category will be sought. If this is not achievable and their events are cancelled, competitors shall be entitled to a full credit or refund. 3

c) Any category subject to amalgamation (where possible), due to low entry numbers presented at qualifying, will comply by the race/start procedures of the category they will be asked to join. There will be a minimum of one (1) grid row between the two (2) categories and up to a thirty (30) second delay between each category start from the starting grid. 3 Document Check 3.1 Competition License check All Drivers are to present their CAMS Competition License and current CAMS affiliated car club membership to an official at McCrackan House prior to the Drivers Briefing. Each Driver must attend the Drivers briefing to be held at McCrackan House or where stated on the Event schedule. 3.2 Vehicle log book check All Entrants are to present their CAMS Vehicle Log Book to an official at the scrutineering shed at the time stated on the Event schedule. 4 Scrutineering 4.1 CAMS Targeted Scrutiny Automobiles will be examined throughout the competition as per the CAMS Targeted Scrutiny Program. 4.2 Excel Cup Series Excel Cup Series automobiles must be fitted with an E next to the competition number, it must be at least 120mm high in the standard number font as per NCR`s in a contrasting colour to the automobile, either black or white. 5 Competition Procedures 5.1 Determination of Winner Points for any meeting or series shall be allocated to the Driver for each race that comprises of that meeting, series or championship as follows:- 1st 25 points, 2nd 20, 3rd 18, 4th 17, 5th 16, 6th 15, 7th 14, 8th 13, 9th 12, 10th 11, 11th 10, 12th 9, 13th 8, 14th 7, 15th 6, 16th 5, 17th 4, 18th 3, 19th 2, 20th 1 point. Points for each race will be accumulated and winner of each category/class will be the Driver with the highest aggregate of points, unless otherwise stated in these regulations or the meeting Further Regulations. In the event of a tie in points scored, the Competitor with the largest number of wins shall be declared the winner. In the event of a tie in the number of wins, the Competitor who scored the most points in the last race will be declared the winner. 5.2 Trophy s Trophies will be awarded as follows: < 4 drivers = 1 st place only 4 < 9 drivers = 1 st and 2 nd place 9 or more drivers = 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd place 5.3 Starting Procedures Unless otherwise stated elsewhere in these regulations, Further Regulations CAMS WA Motor Race Championship Sporting Regulations or CAMS WA Historic Motorsport Championship Sporting Regulations, all races will be standing starts and follow the procedure outlined in the current CAMS Race Meeting Standing Regulations. F1000 + 6SR Sports Racers will have 2 warm up laps and the race start will be a rolling start as per the procedure outlined in the current CAMS Race Meeting Standing Regulations. 4

A Driver who makes a false start shall be penalised in accordance the current CAMS Race Meeting Standing Regulations with at least the minimum penalty of Five (5) seconds added to their race time. 5.4 Grid Positions Unless otherwise stated elsewhere in these regulations, Further Regulations, CAMS WA Motor Race Championship Sporting Regulations or CAMS WA Historic Motorsport Championship Sporting Regulations grid positions will be determined as per CAMS Race Meeting Standing Regulations. Excel Cup, Formula Ford & Formula Classic Grid determination for Excel Cup, Formula Ford, F1000 & Formula Classic will be: First race from qualifying times best qualified to pole Second race on the finishing order from race 1 Third race on the finishing order from race 2 F1000 Kostera Cup Grid determination for F1000 will be: First race from qualifying times with best qualifier to pole Second race top 6 from qualifying will be reversed ie: 6 th qualifier to pole, 5 th qualifier to 2 nd, and so on, with 7 th onwards as of qualifying. Third race highest points to pole position. Formula Vee Grid determination for Formula Vee will be: 1600cc Grid: First race from 1600cc qualifying times best qualifier to pole Second race on the 1600cc finishing order from race 1 Third race on the 1600cc finishing order from race 2 Fourth race on the 1600cc finishing order from race 3 Fifth race on the 1600cc finishing order from race 4 Rear of grid for 1600cc cars will mean rear of 1600cc grid. 1200cc Grid: First race from 1200cc qualifying times best qualifier to the front of 1200cc grid Second race on the 1200cc finishing order from race 1 Third race on the 1200cc finishing order from race 2 Fourth race on the 1200cc finishing order from race 3 Fifth race on the 1200cc finishing order from race 4 Note: There will be an empty grid row between the 1600cc class and the 1200cc class for all races. Sports Sedans/Cars & Street Cars Grid determination for Sports Sedans/Cars will be: First race from qualifying times best qualified to pole Second race on the finishing order from race 1 Third race on the finishing order from race 2 Note: There will be an empty grid row between Sports Sedans/Cars and Street Cars for all races Grid determination for Street Cars will be: First race - from qualifying times best qualified to pole Second race reverse top 10 competitors from race 1 i.e. person who finished 10 th starts 1 st, person who finished 9 th starts second and so on and 11 th onward as they finished race 1 Third race - combination of race 1 and race 2 points highest points scorer to pole 5

Holden HQ Grid determination for Holden HQ will be: First race - from qualifying times best qualified to pole Second race reverse top 10 competitors from race 1 i.e. person who finished 10 th starts 1 st, person who finished 9 th starts second and so on and 11 th onward as they finished race 1 Third race - combination of race 1 and race 2 points highest points scorer to pole Historic Touring Cars & Invited Classes Grid determination for Historic Touring Cars will be: First race from qualifying times best qualified to pole Second race full reverse grid from qualifying times. Third race on the finishing order from race 1 Note: For the second race, the grid will be split into two (2) groups slowest 50% and fastest 50%. The slowest 50% will depart first in reverse qualifying order, then 40 second later the fastest 50% will depart in reverse qualifying order. There will be one (1) vacant grid row between the two (2) groups for this race. Race 2 will not carry any WA CAMS State Championship Points in accordance with rule 2.14 of the CAMS WA Historic Motorsport Championship Sporting Regulations Improved Production Cars Grid determination for Improved HQ Holden and Improved Production Cars will be: First race - from qualifying times best qualified to pole Second race reverse top 10 competitors from race 1 i.e. person who finished 10 th starts 1 st, person who finished 9 th starts second and so on and 11 th onward as they finished race 1 Third race - combination of race 1 and race 2 points highest points scorer to pole 5.5 Race Lengths Race lengths for Formula Ford, F1000, Formula Classic, Holden HQ, Excel Cup, Historic Touring Cars & Invited Classes, Sports Sedans/Cars and Street Cars will be: First race and Second race 8 Laps Third race 10 Laps Race length for Improved Production Cars will be: First race and Third race 8 laps Second race 10 laps Race Length for Formula Vee will be: First, Second, Third & Fourth race 8 laps Fifth race 10 laps 5.6 Split Grids Unless otherwise stated in Event Further Regulations, grid formations for a split grid will be determined according to the starting group. Non-qualifiers or non-finishers from previous events will be gridded in accordance with CAMS Race Meeting Standing Regulations at the rear of their respective group. It is possible therefore for a non-qualifier or non-finisher from a previous event to start at the rear of a group prior to the start of the next group. 5.7 Pit Lane speed Limit The Pit Lane speed limit is 40Kph 5.8 Protests Competitors are reminded of their right to protest in accordance with Part XII of the CAMS Manual of Motor Sport. 6

5.9 Alcohol, Drugs and Other Substances Any holder of a CAMS Competition or Officials licence (or equivalent licence issued by another ASN) may be tested for the presence of drugs (or other banned substances) and subject to a penalty(ies) for a breach in accordance with the CAMS Anti-Doping Policy and/or the CAMS Illicit Drugs in Sport (Safety Testing) Policy as published on the CAMS website. Consumption of alcohol in the paddock, pits or any section of the competition venue/course under the control of the Officials is forbidden until all competition is concluded each day. Accordingly, any holder of a CAMS Competition or Officials licence (or equivalent licence issued by another ASN) may also be tested for the presence of alcohol by a CAMS Accredited Testing Official (CATO) in accordance with the CAMS Standard Operating Procedure for Breath Alcohol Testing. 5.10 Postponement, Abandonment or Cancellation of Competition The Organisers reserve the right to abandon the Event in accordance with the Provisions of NCR 59 of the current CAMS Manual. 5.11 Time Challenge (Regularity) 1 Vehicles The competition will be divided into classes for Modern & Historic Regularity and may be conducted concurrently. 2 Practice and Number of Runs Time Challenge will have a 10-minute practise session and a minimum of 3 x 5 lap trials. (a) (b) (c) (d) (e) (f) All Competitors and Drivers are required to register at McCrackan House from 0830 hrs. Membership cards, competition licences and any CAMS log book (if issued) must be presented. Drivers must listen to the PA Announcements regarding when they will need to group at the North Ramp to prepare for their practise and trials. Practise is intended to give the Driver the opportunity to determine the lap time they are comfortable doing and are able to replicate during the Event. The Trials are scheduled to start immediately following practice. In each group, cars will be marshalled in the order of fastest nominated lap time to the front at North Ramp. Please note: REGULARITY EVENTS ARE NOT RACES. The event is scheduled to finish at approximately 1645 hrs. 3 Start Procedure (Rolling Start) Upon release, automobiles will commence the warm up lap. During this time overtaking is strictly prohibited. The pole position driver is to keep the field moving at the pace set by the safety car and approach the start/finish line in single file formation. Each drivers event doesn t start until they cross the start line, so until then, there is to be NO overtaking. Any breach in this procedure may lead to a driver being charged by the Clerk of Course and an appropriate penalty applied by the Stewards. Please note: TIME CHALLENGE EVENTS ARE NOT RACES. 4 Drivers Briefing A Drivers Briefing for those who passed pre-event scrutiny will be held at McCrackan House at 0845 hrs. Any Driver failing to attend or arriving late at the Briefing should seek out the Clerk of Course who will consult with the Stewards to determine whether they are permitted to run and under what conditions, e.g. reduced number of runs. 5 Scrutiny Scrutiny for all automobiles will commence at 0745. Automobiles are to line up along the road leading to the scrutiny building. 7

All Competitors (a) (b) (c) (d) (e) (f) Your helmet must be presented for inspection and approval at time of scrutiny. CAMS Affiliated Car Club Membership cards, CAMS Licence (minimum L2S Speed) and log book (if issued) must be produced during scrutiny and on request during the Event. If necessary, competition numbers will be advised prior to the race day. (please advise the event organisers if you require a number to be allocated) No automobile may participate unless it has passed scrutiny. Any automobile which, after approval, is dismantled or modified in any way which might affect the safety of the automobile or raises questions as to its eligibility, or is involved in an accident having similar results, must be re-submitted for scrutiny for approval prior to any further participation. Any automobile or Driver may be prohibited from practice or the competition for safety reasons. 6 Apparel All Competitors must wear helmets and in open vehicles, goggles/visors complying with a standard as listed in Schedule D of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport. CAMS recommend that competitors wear an approved full-face helmet when driving in open vehicles (refer Schedule D). Fire resistant clothing is recommended, otherwise, Competitors must wear woollen or cotton clothing covering the body from ankles to wrists and neck, and suitable and appropriate closed footwear. All apparel must comply with Schedule D of the current CAMS Manual. 7 Timing The Organisers utilise Dorian timing system and each automobile must be fitted with a Dorian. Competitors and Drivers may hire a Dorian timing device ($25) from the WASCC (payable upon entry). There will be a $50 deposit required when you collect your Dorian timing device from the Time Keepers at the start of the day of the Event, which will be refunded to you when you return the Dorian timing device at the end of the Event. 8 Safety - Cars The attention of Competitors is drawn to the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport, the General Requirements Section - Schedules A & B All automobiles must: (a) (b) (c) Be fitted with Seat Belts in accordance with Schedule I of the current CAMS Manual. Having, on the external coachwork, a blue triangle of sides 150mm, this indicates the position of the battery. Have an adhesive cover of a colour other than red to prevent the spillage of broken glass on all external forward-facing glass components, save for the windscreen, in accordance with Schedule B of the current CAMS Manual. Automobiles that are not road registered must: (a) (b) (c) (d) Be fitted with a scatter shield if required under the provisions of Schedule M of the current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport. Not be fitted with any steering column locking device. If not equipped with a suitable cross member, then to be fitted with a strap that will prevent the tail shaft falling to the ground in event of a component failure. Be fitted with crankcase breather/s discharging to atmosphere have fitted to such breather/s an oil trap container which must be empty at the start of competition, of a capacity of at least two litres for vehicles under 2000cc or three litres for vehicles over 2000cc. The use of recapped or reconditioned tyres is forbidden. Tubeless tyres must be fitted to optimum rim size only. Fuel must be Commercial Fuel as defined by CAMS, Schedule G of the General Requirements Section of the 8

current CAMS Manual of Motor Sport. Roll bars are not compulsory in closed speed events but are recommended. All cars must be adequately muffled. Protests must be lodged in accordance with Part XII of the current CAMS Manual. 9 Postponements, Abandonment or Cancellation of Competition The Organisers reserve the right to abandon the event in accordance with the Provisions of NCR 59 of the current CAMS Manual. 10 Determination of Winners. The results will be determined by the number of penalty points received during each event. 11 Minimum Lap TImes. Minimum Lap Time for Modern Class = 90 seconds or 1-minute 30 seconds Minimum Lap Time for Historic Class = 100 seconds or 1-minute 40 seconds Please note: The Organisers reserve the right to change the above times in accordance with CAMS Regularity Trial Standing Regulations, Article 4 and 5 12 Awards Points and awards are awarded to Competitors based on penalty points in relation to the entire field of Competitors in each class. 13 Compliance with Instructions Failure to follow the direction of any official will render a Competitor liable to exclusion.
