Musselman Spirit Week "Fashion Week" January 29 th February 2 nd! *Winter Activities: Boys & Girls Basketball, Swim, Wrestling, Kaleidoscope* *Students see your class president if you are interested in participating in a spirit week game* Presidents: Chase Kipps, Aleynah Miller, Randy McFarland, and Amanda Peer

Objective Encourage all students to participate in Fashion Week". During this week, each class will compete in dress-up day participation, lunch time game participation, pep rally participation, and showcases. There will also be a coin drive during spirit week held in the mornings before school done by Relay for Life. Whoever raises the most money throughout the week will win. These points will be announced at the pep rally. At the end of the week, the class with the most spirit wins the spirit stick! Friday February 2 nd, we will come together and show our school spirit! Guidelines: Class Presidents will received spirit week sign-up sheets. Face paint or hair coloring must be applied before school. All school rules still apply, unless stated otherwise for that day. You may only work on showcases before or after school with a class sponsor present. The day after the pep rally, you're only allowed to work on decorating the gym during your own lunch. We are not giving you permission to be out of class to decorate. Point System: 1 st place winner will receive 100 points. 2 nd place will receive 75 points. 3 rd place will receive 50 points. 4 th place will receive 25 point. During the week there will be a participation points poster hanging across from the guidance office. This will display the daily places and points.

Winter Spirit Week Days Monday: Dapper Day Show off your best outfit on this day. Dress for success. Tuesday: Color Blast Freshman: Green Sophomores: Red Junior: Purple Senior: Blue Wednesday: What Not To Wear Day Wear mismatched items, or anything that you think does not look fashionable. Thursday: Tie Dye Day Bring out all the colors and show us your tie dye items! Friday: Spirit Day Today is the day to show your school spirit! Wear all of your green and white and show your school spirit! * Teachers each student must wear two items each day to be counted*

Lunch Time Games A, B, & C Lunch Every day of spirit week during all three lunches we will be asking for one or two volunteers from each grade to play a game. Rankings for these games will be averaged out between all 3 lunches. Each Class is going to need to have a player for at least 2 lunches every day. Student Directed One Acts Attention all Students. On February 1 st will be the Student Directed One Acts. This will be as class competition. It will be Seniors and freshman as one show, juniors as one show, and sophomores as another show. They will start at 6:30 and tickets will be sold Monday January 29 th - February 1 st. Make sure to come out and support your peers and your class.!

Showcase Assignments All of the classes will decorate their showcase by using the Fasion Week Theme! Showcases must be finished by 7:00a.m. Wednesday January 31 st. If you are caught working on it after this you will be disqualified. Showcases will be judged Friday morning. The theme for this week is Fashion Week and of course Friday is Musselman Spirit. Use your creativeness to decorate your showcase in a way you think represents this. Showcases will be judged on neatness, originality, and creativeness! Please don't decorate the hallways!!! ONLY YOUR SHOWCASE! Please have all showcases taken down by Friday February 9 th. Anything left in there after that may be thrown away. If we have snow days, pay attention for any date changes!!

Pep Rally Games Who's the Teacher? Each class will need one contestant. You will come down to the floor & there will be 5 teachers hidden in the small gym. They will each say one phrase into the microphone. Whoever can guess the most teachers correctly wins. Taste the Rainbow Each class will need two contestants. You will have a bag of skittles and a jar of white icing. One person will take the icing and smear it all over their face. Their partner will take the bag of skittles and see how many skittles they can throw and stick to their partners face. Whoever has the most skittles stay on their face after 30 seconds wins. Class Dance Each class will have at least 10 dancers (must have 4 boys). The class will be given a song made for them and formulate a dance. Each class will perform and the judges will choose first through fourth place. All dances must be school appropriate. All mounts must have spotters. The dances will be previewed by Mrs. Branch Friday morning. Failure to show up will result in your disqualification. 7:05- Seniors, 7:10- Juniors, 7:15- Sophomores, 7:20- Freshman Hot Mess Each class will need one contestant. Every contestant will have 1 minute to see how many shirts they can put on. Whoever has the most amount of shirts on at the end of that minute wins. Tug O' War Each class will have 10 contestants (5 male, 5 female). Contestants must line up strategically down the rope and on the count of 3, they will pull as hard as they can. If the opposing teams flag crosses the line, your class wins. The two 1st round winners then face off, and the two 1st round losers face off, determining the standings. Cup Stacking Each class will need one contestant. In this game you will have 3 sets of 13 cups. You will need to take these and stack them into 3 different pyramids. Whoever has all three pyramids built and then put the cups back to the 3 original stacks first wins.. Balloon Take Out Each class will need one contestant. They will have ten red solo cups sitting on a table in front of them. Using a balloon, they will have to blow it up and use the air to knock the cups off the table. Whoever knocks all the cups off first wins. Relay Race Each class will need four contestants. The first person will start out on the mini bike and they will have to ride in and out between cones to the next person if they knock over a cone they must restart. The next person will hula hoop while walking to the third person, if the hula hoop drops then you will have to restart. The third person will put a balloon in between their legs and walk over to the fourth person and sit on it until the balloon pops., if the balloon drops at any time they must restart. The final person will have to throw 5 balls into the lions mouth and whoever completes this first wins. Basketball Shoot-Out Each class will need one contestant. Each contestant will be given 30 seconds to see how many shots they can make. This person will be in charge of getting her/his own rebounds.

Dress-Up Tally Sheets During 4 th period, Monday through Friday, each 4 th period teacher will tally his or her own class s participation. Tallies need to be torn off and returned to Mrs. Branch (room 204) BY THE BEGINNING OF 5 th PERIOD because totals will be calculated immediately!
