This is an England Netball Scheme which has shown a commitment to development and good, safe practice. Clan Netball is a Bucks club with over 100 players registered. We cater for all levels of competition, both participation and performance. In 2015-2016 we hope to run an U13, U14, U16, U19 & Division 3 Regional Teams and a Prem 2 Senior team. Five Kingsmead Outdoor League Teams (Summer & Winter) for Seniors, an U14 and 2 x U12 teams and one senior squad at Aylesbury Indoor League in the Prem Division. We are also joining forces with Fusion who are in Division 1 of Middlesex Poly League. Kingsmead Netball league offers competition for over 1000 local players, with the league running four nights every week. Clan has teams playing in 3 of these nights. Netball South league Regional Clan squads each play seven other teams across the South of England. Premier league division 2 Clan performance team are in the top 20 teams within the country, playing nationwide from Jersey to Middlesborough.
7 current / former members have played &/or coached in the England Squads and we have worked with a number of players who have represented Superleague, NTL & NPFL franchises. The club is run by volunteers and the success we have had to date has been down to the work which is undertaken from players, coaches & parents. Members of all teams are asked to take an active interest in the organisation and smooth running of the club and teams, including umpiring (at Kingsmead local league), scoring, stewarding, event organisation, match teas and team manager positions. As well as transporting your daughter to and from games. Netball attracts a huge amount of interest, not only in the local area but countrywide. Predominantly played by women, netball is played by more than 20 million people in more than 80 countries. The England Netball magazine has a readership of 92,000 and Clan Netball has been mentioned in the last 3 publications. Our twitter account has 477 followers and we currently have 129 likes on Facebook and regularly reach 500+ people through our posts, with one of our recent posts reaching 1,136 views. We are keen to hear about any sponsorship opportunities you may know about, the costs of running a team are increasing year on year and any assistance to find suitable sponsors would be appreciated.
