The compressor will not stimulate the connected offshore structure or interfere with the structural analysis of the naval architecture. LABYRINTH SEALING OIL-FREE AND CONTACTLESS COMPRESSION In the piston and piston rod gland many tiny throttling points create a friction-less sealing effect. This arrangement allows an efficient control of the mass flow in a limited range. Below this range, the shaft power remains more or less constant.
