More Competition Information We recommend you arrive at your scheduled arrival time to allow enough time for registration, stretching and practice. We suggest you do not have all groups show up first thing in the morning since it is a very hectic time and we want to accommodate the teams in order of performance. Please have your teams sit on the floor only. Try to use as little space as possible so that we can accommodate all teams. The bleachers will be for spectators only. Please notify parents that any cheerleader in uniform is to be seated on the floor even if they have already competed for the day. All teams have a scheduled practice time prior to their performance time. You do not have to use this time, however if you miss it, it will not be rescheduled. The practice area is a matted area in the practice gym. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Do not bring any valuable items to the competition. All coaches can sit in front of the judges table during their team performance, if they are wearing a coach s tag. Coach tags will be in your packet. If you have not registered all your coaches you will not get the tags. Coaches cannot be added the day of the event. Any extra coaches will need to pay admission price and will not be allowed in the practice areas. No food or drink in the gym areas. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE for music mishaps. We have hired a sound equipment company. You will not be able to repeat a performance due to music issues/mistakes. Medical personnel and trainers are on hand to assist in any injuries/illnesses. Score sheets can be picked up AFTER the awards program has concluded. Any lost or found items will be turned in to the flower sales table. In the case of a tie the overall impression score will be used to break the tie. Inform parents that the building WILL NOT open to spectators until 8:00 a.m. At no time is anyone allowed to approach the judges and question their ruling during the competition. Cheerleading is a subjective sport. Questions are to be directed to the site coordinator and she will talk to the judges if she feels it is appropriate. Please let us know if you have any questions/concerns. We are easiest reached via email. Thanks again!!
