1. GENERAL INFORMATION The work plan is based on the UEG regulations and on the definitive registrations received by the UEG secretariat on February 29 th 2012. If a mobile phone or any other electronic communication device should be used on the field of play during the entire competitions of the European Championships, the person concerned (gymnast, coach, etc.) will be immediately expelled. The gymnasts will not be ranked and will not be authorised to participate in the remaining competitions. If this rule is violated by a coach, all his gymnasts who are at the moment of the violation on the field of play will also be expelled! 2. TIME-TABLE Sunday, 27. ACCREDITATION The accreditation will take place upon arrival of the delegations in OKA Hotel. The FIG Licenses, passports, music, national flags and national anthems will be checked during accreditation. 3
The Heads of delegation have to present the confirmation that all members of the delegation have a valid insurance. Any outstanding payments have to be made by the Head of delegation. All Federations are requested to send a photo of all members of the delegation to the OC to the following mail-address: center_gym-nn@mail.ru At the accreditation, the Heads of delegation have to present the form with the technical value of the gymnasts (see enclosure), as well as the forms with the starting order. If these forms are not presented during accreditation, a participation in the European Championship will not be possible! The accreditation must always be visible. In case of loosing the accreditation card, a new one has to be bought for 100.-. Additional accreditations cost 150.-. 5. ORIENTATION MEETING The orientation meeting for the Heads of delegation will take place on Wednesday, 30 May 2012 at 18h00 in the conference hall of OKA Hotel (max. 2 persons per nation). This is where representatives of the TC-RG/UEG and the OC will give practical information on the running of the competition. Participation in the Orientation meeting is compulsory. Unjustified failure by a federation to attend will result in a sanction of 1000.- Euro. This is the last possibility for the Heads of delegation to hand over the definitive confirmation of the starting order. Possible advertising on the gymnasts' competition attire has to be presented. At the orientation meeting, the Heads of delegation have to present the forms for inquiries. Immediately after the meeting OC invites everyone to a reception. 6. TRAINING The official training will start on Wednesday, May 30 th 2012 and will end on Thursday, May 31 st 2012. The delegations will receive the training plan upon arrival. The training halls have a free height of 10 m The competition hall has a free height of 10,4 m The training of the finalists (senior groups and individual juniors) will take place on Sunday June 3 rd 2012, 8.00-12.30 according to a special schedule. The delegations concerned will receive this schedule after the competitions on Saturday. Access to the training halls is limited to the nations concerned. Access to the competition hall is limited to persons being in possession of an accreditation and wearing it at all times. The accreditation is personal and cannot be used by other persons. After the training in the competition hall, the heads of delegation have to confirm with a special form that the CDs of their gymnasts are correct and without any damage. 4
7. DRAWING OF LOTS OF THE STARTING ORDER The drawing of lots for the different competitions was carried out on Thursday, March 8 th 2012 in Lausanne. The results are enclosed. JUDGES COURSE A judges course will be organised for all judges on Thursday, 31 May 2012 in the Competition hall. 9. DRAWING OF LOTS OF THE JUDGES The nominative draw of lots of the judges will take place prior to the competitions in the judges room in the Competition hall. 11. JURY OF APPEAL According to the FIG Regulations, the jury of appeal is composed of two members of the UEG Executive Committee (one of them will function as president) and one neutral member of the LOC. 12. SUPERIOR JURY Composed of the Technical Committee RG, chaired by the President TC-RG/UEG. 13. SUBSTITUTION OF A GYMNAST According to FIG Regulations. 14. MEDICAL CERTIFICATE - OFFICIAL DOCTOR Only the official doctor or his representative are authorised to establish the necessary medical certificate. 15. DOPING CONTROL Doping is prohibited. We refer to the corresponding FIG Regulations. Controls can be requested at any time. Doping controls are carried out according to AMA/FIG regulations. Official doctor of the OC: Prof. A. V. Aleynikov Official doctor of the UEG: Dr Claudio Briganti 16. FLOOR AREAS A total of 8 floor areas will be available. Supplier: SPIETH One floor area will be available in the competition hall. Colour: BEIGE 17. PUBLICATION OF THE SCORES The scores of the different exercises will be published on an electronic board indicating the number and name of the gymnast, the notes D, A, execution as well as the penalties and the final note. Publication of the scores and result service: SWISS TIMING. 18. INQUIRIES According to the TR/FIG. The Heads of delegation will be informed about the procedure at the briefing session. 19. CONTROL OF THE APPARATUS During the training sessions in the competition hall, each delegation will have the opportunity to have its apparatus verified and have the official control label attached to it. During the competition, a control will be carried out before each exercise. A further check may take place at the end of the exercise at the request of the control judges or the superior jury. 6
Any apparatus, which does not conform to the regulations, will be refused or its use penalized, even if it has already been accepted for another competition. 20. MUSIC CD's (Flash Memory, CD-R, CD-RW, Mini CD) have to be given to the OC upon arrival (accreditation). The information mentioned in the Code of Points and the Technical Regulations must be clearly marked on the CD's. An additional copy is needed for the training. At the accreditation, a form with the duration and the author of the music has to be filled in; official titles/interpreters have to be indicated. The authorised sound level in the training and competition halls is limited to 80 db resp. 1000 Hertz (Hz). 21. FORMS FOR THE EXERCISES These forms, 1 copy per gymnast and exercise, must be easily legible and handed in by the Head of delegation upon arrival at the accreditation centre. 22. NATIONAL ANTHEMS / FLAGS The duration of the anthems is limited to 45 seconds. 23. CONTROL VIDEOS There will be control videos for all exercises. 24. SEATING FOR THE HEADS OF DELEGATION Reserved seating will be at the disposal of the heads of delegation. 25. SEATING FOR THE DELEGATIONS Reserved seating will be allocated for each delegation, i.e. for all gymnasts and officials not engaged in the competition. 26. AWARD CEREMONIES The award ceremonies will be organised according to the UEG regulations. When the medals and diplomas are awarded, gymnasts and officials are not allowed to embrace. All gymnasts must wear competition attire, no tracksuit. 27. PRESS CONFERENCES Unless a further announcement is made on site, there will be no media conference after finals. 28. OPENING CEREMONY The opening ceremony will take place on 01 June 2012 at 16 h 00. All gymnasts are requested to participate. The gymnasts have to wear competition attire, no tracksuit. 7
29. CLOSING CEREMONY The closing ceremony will take place, on 03 June 2012 at 18 h 00, immediately after the Awards Ceremony. All gymnasts have to participate. The gymnasts have to wear competition attire, no tracksuit 30. GALA All medal winners are obliged to participate in the Gala Show to be held on 03 June 2012 at 18.00. The Gala is also open to all other interested gymnasts. The duration of each routine is unlimited. All delegations are requested to submit the resp. Gala music and other requirements (sound, light, etc.) at the accreditation. 31. TRANSPORT For the delegations, transport will be organised from the airport in Nizhny Novgorod or from the Main train station to the hotels and back. The transport from the hotels to the training halls will also be organised. 32. RECEPTION Delegation attendant All delegations will be welcomed in the name of the OC by a delegation attendant who will be at the disposal of the delegations for the time of their stay. At their arrival, the delegations will receive all necessary documents. 33. FINAL EVENING A banquet for all delegations will be held on 03 June 2012 at 21h00. Information will be given to the delegations upon arrival. 34.
