Gabriel was a four year starter at Southern New Hampshire University from 2004-2008. He captained SNHU to the league and conference championships in 2008, and was an All-Conference selection. In 2009, he signed his first professional contract with the Western MA Pioneers (USL-2). He also played professional indoor soccer for the Louisville Lightning (PASL) and finished fifth on the team in points with 8 goals and 11 assists. Gabriel has made a total of 6 appearances for the New England Revolution (two reserve matches, 4 preseason matches). He was invited to a month long preseason trial by Revolution head coach Jay Heaps in 2012, and had the honor of playing against the likes of David Beckham, Edson Buddle, and the LA Galaxy.
Mercier coached for Hampshire FC out of Amherst, NH for four years. In 2012, he was the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Rivier University and currently is the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Assumption College in Worcester, MA. U14 & U15 Girls Win President s Cup April 2014 Seacoast United's U14 & U15 Girls Premier captured the 2014 NH President's Cup title over the weekend, with finals taking place on both Saturday and Sunday for various age groups at the NEAC complex in Pembroke, NH. On Saturday, Seacoast United's U15 Girls Premier defeated Nashua World Cup 98/99 Classic by the score of 7-0 "I'm so proud of this team," commented coach Lorna Young. "They have developed so much in the short time I have known them." Young took over the coaching duties for this team in late February. The girls posted a record of 3-0 in their championship run and did not allow a goal. Sunday, the U14 Girls Premier followed, defeating Loudon Freedom 2-1 in penalties after a 1-1 tie in regulation. The 14's went 4-0 during Presidents Cup games, scoring 9 goals while conceding only 3 and posting a shutout. The state championship qualifies both teams for the Regional event taking place in the Pittsburg, PA area over Memorial Day weekend. Seacoast United Captures 6 NH State Cup Titles June 1st, 2014 Seacoast United will be represented by 6 teams at the 2014 Region I Championships, taking place June 26th-July 1st in Kingston, Rhode Island. The state championship matches began Thursday evening at the NEAC complex in Pembroke, NH with the U18 boys and girls. Seacoast United s U18 Boys Premier defeated Nashua World Cup by the score of 2-1, while the U18 Girls Elite earned a 5-1 victory over Lightning SC For all other age groups, the finals took place on Saturday, May 31st with four teams earning their State Championship title. U15 Girls Elite defeated Global Premier Soccer GPS NH Eagles 2-1, U16 Girls Elite cruised to a 9-1 victory over World Cup SC of Greater Nashua Elite, and U17 Girls Elite
defeated NWC Aztecs-NPL by the score of 7-2. The U17 Boys Premier battled to a dramatic 4-3 win over GPS Classics Elite. Three other Seacoast United teams also deserve recognition for their outstanding performances through group play to advance to the finals in their respective age groups. U12 Girls Elite went to overtime before falling in penalties to Stars of MA NH on Saturday morning. U13 Girls Elite conceded an early goal in Saturday's final and struggled to find the elusive equalizer, resulting in a 0-1 loss to GPS Classics Elite. The U14 boys Premier fell short 0-2 to Global Premier Soccer GPS-NH Classics Elite. The Region I Championship Series hosts over 280 U12-U19 boys and girls teams from the 15 Youth Soccer Associations within Region I including Connecticut, Delaware, Eastern Pennsylvania, Eastern New York, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, NY West, Pennsylvania West, Rhode Island, Vermont, and West Virginia. The event is hosted by US Youth Soccer as part of the National Championship Series. Seacoast United's U15 Girls Elite, U16 Girls Elite, U17 Girls Elite, U18 Girls Elite, U17 Boys Premier, and U18 Boys Premier all advanced after capturing NH State Cup titles over the weekend of May 30th-June 1st. U15 Girls To Compete At NPL National Finals July 7th, 2014 Seacoast United Girls U15 Elite head to Greensboro, NC on Tuesday to compete in the NPL National Finals, taking place July 10-14th at the Bryan Park Soccer Complex. The GU15 Elite qualified for the National finals after finishing second in their division in the NYCSL NPL division and received the wild card spot for the best second place finish in the country. The GU15 Elite finished their regular season schedule with a 7-1-5 record only losing one game in the whole season to division winners NEFC Elite. The NPL National finals will host winners from each of the National Premier Leagues across the country, who will play three group games aiming to make the semi-final knock-out round Seacoast United GU15 Elite will play three groups games, with their first against Carlsbad United Elite from Southern California on Thursday, July 10th, followed by games against Forza FC (UT) on Friday and Jersey United Spartans (NJ) on Saturday. With the 2013-14 year being Seacoast United s first year competing in the NPL, this will be the first time a Seacoast United team will compete at the NPL National Finals. Niles Selected for Region I ODP Pool September 2014 Seacoast United U14G Elite defender Hannah Niles (Saco, ME) has been selected for the US Youth Soccer Region I Girls ODP Pool for players born in 2001. Hannah is scheduled to travel to Pennsylvania from December 28th-30th to
