10th ANNUAL - Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser Hello St. Mary's School Parents, Parishioners, Friends, Staff, and Alumni! Our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Chili Cook-Off, is right around the corner ( Saturday, October 27 ). This is our 10th Annual Chili Cook-Off and we are SO EXCITED to make this the best one yet, but we need your help! Please use this link to sign-up for volunteer positions. LINK https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080d48aaab2ba6f58-10th Feel free to sign-up for more than one spot! And... please share this link with anyone who might be willing to lend us a hand. Volunteer hours can count towards SMS service hours. If outside of SMS, please check with your institution to see how these volunteer hours may apply (Central Catholic HS, SMS Confirmation hours, National Honors Society, State Farm, etc.). We ask that student volunteers are at least in 6th grade and above. If you cannot make it to the Chili Cook-Off, consider helping with set-up the night before or make some goodies to raise money at the Bake Sale. Think you can help in some other way? Let us know! We truly appreciate your Crusader talents and time. If you provide your e-mail/phone #, the Sign Up Genius will send you a reminder e-mail or text a few days before the event. Questions? Please direct e-mails to your Chili Cook-OffVolunteer Coordinator, Amy O'Donoghue, at amy.odonoghue@stmarysschool.net. Early Release @ 2:00 for Teacher Professional Development Wednesday, September 26th is our 2nd Early Release Day for teachers to work on professional development or collaborate together. Students will be dismissed at 2:00 - if you are able to pick up your child please do so at their normal dismissal door! If you can't make the 2:00 release time, don't worry. We have supervision for students for free until 3:00. Students who are not picked up at 2:00 will go to the Gym/cafeteria. They will have time to work on homework and have some playtime either in the gym or outside. Parents can pick-up their child at the Cafeteria door off of Taylor street (N1) and you can ring the doorbell to let someone know you are there. If you have your child in AfterCare, you don't have to worry about anything! Nothing changes for you at all!
