Welcome to The University of Texas Golf Club As Chairman of the Board for The University of Texas Golf Club, it is my pleasure to introduce you to a very special golf club in Austin, which is one of the best in Texas. Some of today s most influential University supporters set out on a mission to build a permanent home for the Texas men s and women s varsity golf teams while providing a first-class, private golf club for members enjoyment. With that vision in mind, The University of Texas Golf Club was established in 2003 and is located in the award-winning community of Steiner Ranch, between Lake Austin and Lake Travis. For many years, Bechtol Russell Golf studied the layout of the land, and with the input of many of UT s greatest ex-golfers, designed a golf course that encompasses the beauty of Steiner Ranch. The UT Golf Club is an incredible golf experience coupled with the tradition of excellence which UT is famous for. It is a Par 71-7,412 yards long championship caliber course. In addition to the course itself, The UT Golf Club includes outstanding practice facilities with multiple chipping, pitching and putting greens suitable for everyone s practice needs. The Clubhouse is a 16,000 square foot facility of pure Texas luxury. It is comprised of richly appointed men s & women s locker rooms, Golf Shop, lavish lounge areas, Founders Bar, Santa Rita Room a private dining room and generous indoor dining in the Tower Room as well as outdoor patio dining overlooking the beautiful 18th hole. The club also has an outdoor special events Pavilion complete with an outdoor fireplace, fire pit, majestic Hill Country views and can easily host a Texas-sized party for up to 400 people! In addition, The UT Golf Club has a fully equipped fitness center which is open 7 days a week. The UT Golf Club has elevated the standards of exemplary golf, premier junior golf programs, memorable dining experiences and quality family entertainment. In March 2013, the club opened the Edgar O. and Melanie A. Weller Tennis Center featuring the Whaling/Snyder Courts. The Center includes six indoor/four outdoor courts, well appointed locker rooms and tennis shop. The Center is an additional home for UT men s and women s tennis programs, one that will help with their pursuit of a national championship. In May 2013, the Club opened its recreational style pool summer fun for the whole family! Coming to the club and need a place to stay? Want a place to host guests at your club? Then The UT Golf Club has what you need with the newest addition of 4 Casitas. With 2 downstairs units (Ben Crenshaw and Darrell K Royal) and 2 upstairs units (Tom Kite and Founders Executive Suite), you are able to reserve from 1 4 bedrooms or more during your stay. All units include luxurious amenities as well as personal concierge services. Classification of Memberships (Local) Local Memberships: Local Members shall be defined by those residing in the following counties: Travis, Williamson, Bastrop, Hays, Caldwell, Comal, Blanco, Milam, Bell, Guadalupe, Lee, Burnet, Llano, Gillespie, Kendall, San Saba, Lampasas, Coryell, Burleson, Fayette and Gonzales. All UTGC memberships are considered family memberships which include the member, spouse, and children under the age of 26. Local Longhorn All Sport Membership This membership is a full privilege membership which includes unlimited golf, tennis, fitness, swimming, dining and social events. Tee times and court times may be made one week in advance throughout the year. Priority registration for all major club tournaments. The Initiation Deposit is considered a refundable deposit-see Membership Plan. Initiation Deposit (ID): $50,000 Monthly Dues: $665* Local Longhorn Membership This membership is a full privilege membership which includes unlimited golf, fitness, swimming, dining and social events. Tee times may be made one week in advance throughout the year. Priority registration for all major club tournaments. The Initiation Deposit is considered a refundable deposit-see Membership Plan. Initiation Deposit (ID): $42,500 Monthly Dues: $585* Burnt Orange Tennis Membership** This membership is a tennis, fitness, swimming, dining and social membership. Court times may be made one week in advance throughout the year. (The driving range, golf practice facility and golf course are not available for access with a Burnt Orange Tennis Membership.) Initiation Fee (IF): $8,500 (plus tax) Monthly Dues: $245* Burnt Orange Social Membership** This membership is a dining, social, swimming and fitness membership. It will allow you full access to the club s social events including our Friday Night Tailgate Parties, wine tastings, happy hours, cooking classes and more. You will have full access to the clubhouse, which includes a full service dining facility, bar areas, locker rooms, lounges, and our fitness facility. (The driving range, practice facility, golf course or tennis facilities are not available for access with a Burnt Orange Social Membership.) Initiation Fee: $7,500 (plus tax) Monthly Dues: $150* Corporate Memberships** Orange & White All Sports Membership or Orange & White Membership Orange & White All Sports Memberships are corporate memberships with a minimum of two designees up to five designees per membership. Priority registration for all major club tournaments. Orange & White Membership is the same as above but excludes access to all tennis facilities.
