PSG 7 239: Cesson Rennes 7 188: Chartres 7 170:214 0 Veszprem eliminated Paris twice in a row in the quarterfinals - in 2013/14 and 2014/15 both teams have bolstered their squads enormously in the last three years: Veszprem with Momir Ilic, Christian Zeitz, Aron Palmarsson, Gasper Marguc, PSG by Thierry Omeyer, Nikola & Luka Karabatic, Daniel Narcisse, Igor Vori or Mikkel Hansen Ilic, Zeitz, Palmarsson, Omeyer, Karabatic and Narcisse have all won the VELUX EHF Champions League as THW Kiel players both sides never won the CL trophy, although they are main contenders, Veszprem were finalists twice (2002, 2015), PSG never made it to Cologne or the previous semi-finals so far Veszprem will have to replace both right back players due to injuries: Laszlo Nagy (finger) and Christian Zeitz (shoulder) both sides have new coaches: Noka Serdarusic took over PSG after the demise of Phillippe Gardent, while Xavier Sabate is still officially the interim solution after Antonio Carlos Ortega left since the return to the CL, Paris have lost only three home matches: in 2013/14 against Barcelona (group phase) and Veszprem (quarter-final) and 2014/15 against Kiel (group phase) both sides have announced that making it to Cologne is their official goal for the international season three CL top scorers: Ilic (2014/ goals, 2013/ goals, Veszprem), Hansen (2011/12-98 goals for AG Kobenhavn), N. Karabatic (2006/07-89 goals for Kiel) four IHF World Players of the Year in PSG: N. Karabatic (2007, 2014), Omeyer (2008), Hansen (2011), Narcisse (2012) 13 players have won the CL at least once: eight of Veszprem (Ilic, Nagy, Nilsson, Palmarsson, Ch. Rodriguez, Ugalde, Zeitz) and five of PSG (Abalo, N.
