1 WELCOME to all Competitors to the EIGHTH round of the 2008 Club Championship. The value for money format including 3 heats and final for all classes continues and if the weather is on our side be prepared for bonus laps for the final. Preparations are underway for the 50TH ANNIVERSARY year for Hunts Kart Racing Club with the Club members in the forefront of our Plans. Kartmania is on 29th/30th November, there will be a stand for the club and the weekend we will disclose the racing calendar and race series deals for HKRC Welcomes the NKF 250 Gearbox Class competing this weekend. HUNTS KART RACING CLUB would like to express our thanks to Simon Pugh who project managed the track resurfacing project along with thanks to BUCKINGHAMS who carried out the all site work. There has also been support from the HKRC Committee, Derek and Geoff and many of the club members to have contributed to having the site and track ready for the race meeting. The track was reopened on Saturday 10th May by the President and Co- founder of Hunts Kart racing Club Mr Ray Convine and Buckingham s project site Manager Graham Bartthorpe CIRCUIT ONE will be used for the SEPTEMBER race meeting. Circuit Two will be brought back into use once some additional circuit work has been completed. An edition for spectator viewing has been completed with the bund being opened at Kimbolton corner- entry at end of tarmac pit bay number 1A. GATE ENTRANCE FEE RACEDAY - The charge of 5 per vehicle will be charged to all entering the site from 10am onwards without exception ALL PITBAY holders issued with a permit must display to enable the Club to ensure that competitors are parked in their correct bays. The permits will be handed out by HKRC officials or can be collected in race control over the race weekend. Vacant Pit bays can be rented for 20 per weekend which will be offset against the annual charge if you decide to rent for the remainder of the season. All news and Club information can be found on the HKRC website TYRE DISPOSAL is still an issue with tyres being left on site from the July race meeting. The club incur costs for disposal. Please make every effort to take the tyres with you or pay a 3 fee per set of tyres to any of the kart traders or the maintenance team.
