1 The Beber Buzz Second Week Silliness Breakfast Food Poll Aqua Park Additions A Dark and Stormy Night?
2 Aqua Park Additions by Ashley Oberfield I went around camp and asked kids and counselors what is something they would want to add to the aqua park. We came up with three things: Hamster Balls: 4 votes Mechanical bull: 3 votes Water Slide: 2 votes After figuring out what people wanted, I decided to ask Michael Wax a couple questions about how they decide what changes get made to the aquapark: Q: How do you know what you want to add? Michael: You need to know what the depth of the water is, how much space you have, and the size of the things/obstacles you want to add.. Breakfast Food Poll: by Jonah Weitzenfeld 1st place: Waffles 2nd place: Pancakes 3rd place: Cereal 4th place: French Toast Q: If you could add one of the three suggestions we got from people around camp what would it be? Michael: A water side that goes into the lake/water. Q: Do you ask other people to find out what to add? Michael: I talk with Sam Barton (the aquatics director) and I talk with the Wibbet company. Q: How did you get all of the money to pay for the aqua park? Michael: Mindy Gewurtz Ludwig's brother helped raise the money for the whole park. 3 A Dark and Stormy Night A thriller by Anabelle Egeland Jokes by Anabelle Egeland Why can t the mechanical pencil run in the dark? Because it ran out of L.E.D. What is a trampolines favorite time of the year? Spring time! HAHAAHAAHAAHAHAHA Why can t eggs ever keep secrets? Because they crack under pressure! AHHHHAHHAHAHAH Why should't you make an egg laugh? Because it will crack! It was a dark and stormy night. All of camp was in crown hall. It was past Makor s bedtime, but it was too stormy. It was 10:07. Everyone was half asleep until BOOM! CRASH! Thunder and lighting struck the building. The storm went on for hours and hours, then finally they let makor leave. Though, people had to go to night meds. Almost half of Makor went. Mia s best friends Kat and Sadie went. Mia and Sadie made it back to the cabin safely. But when they got there they weren t so sure the cabin was safe because it sounded like the roof was about to blow off. It turns out they were safe in the cabin, but one person didn t make it. Kat was walking back from night meds when BOOM! Kat was struck by lighting and carried right to the health center. She fainted, but survived. She got four injuries. Broken arm, leg, wrist, and nose. Everyone was ok this time, but who knows when thunder and lighting will be back to Beber for revenge. What is a Fornite player's favorite part of cleaning their teeth? Flossing What did the pizza say to its date? I love you to pizza's. Why couldn't the cow go hiking? Because he was too tired to Moo-ve Person 1: Knock Knock Person 2: Who's there? Person 1: Owl says Person 2: Owl says who? Person 1: Yes they do!
4 Day in the life of 05 Counselor Mia Drelich by Rebecca Peretz xt Here. Mia s day starts at 7:30 and her girls are silly as they brush their teeth. How does she wake her campers up you may ask? She wakes them up by using her alarm and then saying Good Morning! As if they weren t awake yet. At cabin cleanup Mia gets her campers to clean by reminding them of Dairy Queen. Her hobbies always involve arts and crafts. To get her campers to eat, she shows them how delicious Chef Jeff s food is. At rest hour Mia and the rest of 05 read mail, play games like cat s cradle, and tell jokes. At the Snack Shack, Mia LOVES peaches and HATES stale pretzels. Who doesn t? At cabin activity, Mia s favorite activities she has done so far are tye dye and challah making. I love those too! At shower hour Mia gives her kids 56 minutes to shower. Flagpole, I pledge alle- whops I lost focus there! At flagpole, Mia said that it's easy to get her campers there, but they aren't usually on time. Mia eats until she's full at dinner. At G.A. Mia hangs out with her friends. Every night, Mia and her girls do guided meditation. Mia is a great counselor and an amazing person. He ran to the bathroom and turned on the water. The water tore up the evil napkin while the cloth was drying off. The cloth turned the world back to normal by giving everybody water. Super Cloth saved the day! THE END
