1 Students who are starting K thru those completed 5 th grade Hours 7:00 am 6:30 pm 7:00 PARC Summer Camp opens Gym, Big Room open. 7:30 Room #2 opens. (open for all age groups). 8:30 Snack served, Room closes. 9:00 all children gather in gym for group songs, skits, announcements and games. 9:30 break into age groups K-2 grades rotate, 3-5 stay in gym. 10:30 break into age groups 3-5 rotate K-2 grades stay in gym 11:15 K-2 grades eat lunch 3-5 stay in gym- 11:503-5 eat lunch, open front activity rooms for K-2 grades 12:45 all gather back into gym. 1:00 Break into specialty camps. 3:30 Snack-each room will come as a group to eat snack. 3:30 Front activity rooms open. 5:30 Front activity rooms closes with the exception of, Big Room opens 6:00 All front activity rooms close, Big Room and Gym remain open 6:30 Camp closes > K-2 = children that will start Kindergarten children that have completed 2 nd grade. > 3-5 = children that have completed 3 rd grade children that have completed 5 th grade. > Grade levels listed are the grades levels completed. > Activity Rooms are set up for boys and girls.

3 Summer 2016 Specialty Camp Choices Listed below are the specialty camps for the summer. Please see the calendar for each week for more information. Each week we will offer 4 specialty camps. Each child will pick a 1 st and 2 nd choice. Each specialty camp includes a field trip and a swimming day. Kitchen fun has a capacity of 12 children Science has a capacity of 12 children All other specialty camps will have a capacity of 20 Kitchen fun: Work with your friends and a counselor to create tasty foods that are sweet, salty and different. The children will be responsible for preparing the food and cleaning up afterwards. The camp has a capacity of 12 children and fills up quickly. Be the Scientist:Work with your friends and a counselor to do outrageous science experiments with food, goo, and other fun items. Experimentswill ooze, explode, fly, slide and glide. Performing Arts: The children will learn different skits and plays to perform for their friends. They ll also dabble in different musical instruments. This specialty camp gives the kids the opportunity to learn more about their individual talents. Legomania: Do you enjoy building with Legos? Kids will enjoy time building different models and using their imagination building with Legos. This is a fun camp that offers the kids opportunity to build and use their imagination. Sports: This camp is in the gym. It involves all different sports from basketball, kickball, volleyball, dodge ball, wacky sports and team sports. Children must wear tennis shoes to participate in this camp. Dance:The children will work together with the help of a counselor to create their own dance using appropriate music. They will practice daily and perform their dance for the friends on. Cheer: 2,4,6,8 who is great? Children will learn different cheers and cheer movements. On, the cheer will be performed for their friends. Arts and s: Children will create a variety of different art projects. They will learn about different art pieces and replicate art from famous artist. Art can include collage art, painting, clay project, abstract art and more. Video Gaming: Video Gaming is a camp favorite. The children will take turns playing video games with their friends. All video games are rated E, for everyone and the children will rotate turns. s Galore: Board s, chess, checkers, card games: The children will play board games, learn more about chess and checkers and fun card games. Model Building: The Children will create wooden model craft kids, use their imagination to make clay projects, and far and wacky crafts. Just want to have fun?: The children will paint their fingernails, make smoothies and dip their favorite food in chocolate. They will play dress upand watch a Disney Princess Movie. They will play small group games and make fun crafts. VBS Vacation Bible School :The children will attend the VBS at Sugar Land UMC. The PARC will take the children to the church at 9:00 am and will pick them up at 12:00 pm. The children will have a field trip and swim day. Animal Lovers: The children will watch education videos, do fun crafts and more to learn about their favorite animals. Space: The Children will learn about the planets, the first man on the moon and space.
