The students were treated to a special performance this week by the St. Thomas Aquinas Show Choirs, the Saintsations and the Swingin Saints. The two choirs include several Holy Spirit alumni, including Matthew A., Reagan E, Colleen F, Amy G, Molly K, Michael M, Brendan N, Megan R, Maggie S, and Maggie Y. Each child is a masterpiece of God created with precision for a specific purpose." Catholic WOW Prophet -One who speaks for God, usually to call people to repentance. 2 Thank you to everyone who put signs in their yards and helped make Take a Look Thursday such a great success! Signs can be returned to the school office at anytime! Catholic Schools Week PARENTS CHOIR Sign-Ups! It s here once again. All parents can sign up to be in the Parents Choir for the All School Mass during Catholic Schools Week! It is February 1 st this year. There will be a rehearsal on Tuesday, January 31, at 7:00pm in the Church. 5 BISHOP MIEGE HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADING, POM AND MASCOT CLINIC FOR 6, 7 & 8 GRADERS ONLY!! WHAT: Two hours of cheer, dance or mascot instruction (YOU CHOOSE!). This is an opportunity for you to experience what it is like to be a high school cheerleader, pom squad member or mascot! You will cheer or dance or be the mascot at a BMHS Basketball game! Also, you will receive special instruction to help prepare you for high school cheerleading, pom or mascot tryouts! You will be served dinner and receive a t-shirt (The t-shirt is awesome!). All this provided by the BMHS cheerleaders, pom squad members and mascots. DATE/TIME: The clinic begins on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 3:30 PM (or as soon as you can get there from school). You will cheer or perform at the BMHS Girls and Boys Basketball games against Saint James Academy at the BMHS Main Campus gym that night. WHERE: The Clinic will be held at the Bishop Miege North Campus (two blocks north of the main campus). Those who choose cheerleading or mascot will cheer or mascot during the second half of the girls basketball game and the first half of the boys basketball game. Those who choose pom will perform a dance at half time of both games. The girls game begins at 6:15 PM and the boys game begins at 7:45 PM. The main campus is located at 5041 Reinhardt. The clinic participants will meet their families at the main campus gym for the game. Family members of the clinic participants receive free admittance to the basketball games! WHAT TO WEAR: Clothes you can move in and tennis shoes (no street shoes) COST: $10.00 (Includes instruction, a t-shirt, dinner and lots of fun!)
