Experience the sporty side of driver training on this intensive training course for beginners on the race track. The handling course is available for a warm-up. Those who dream of conquering terrain far away from civilisation in their off-roader will find training courses for all levels of experience in the Offroad Summer Driving Events. The multifaceted training course known as The Rock! at the Bremen plant and the extensive off-road terrain in Biberach mean that all the challenges are in one place. Experienced professionals are always at hand to offer intensive training for beginners, advanced drivers and perfectionists. Those who prefer to focus solely on the joy of driving and the experience, meanwhile, will find what they are looking for in the original family outing or the test drive of a totally different kind with the Mercedes-Benz SUVs and off-roaders. Get in, belt up and get ready to experience adventure! For all off-road training in Biberach, the customer s own GLS, GLE or GLC must be equipped with the AIRMATIC electronic damping system and the Off-Road Engineering package. For others it s getting away from it all for a while and experiencing neighbouring countries in a whole new way. We have put together a comprehensive Driving Events travel package: from the remote snowwhite north, home to Santa, to the world s most southerly city, Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego. This is the finishing point for this year s stage of the Mercedes-Benz Driving Events World Tour, taking in South America. There s an adventurous start to the trip, with a snowmobile ride over the sea to the Sampo icebreaker. The Arctic Driving Centre is the venue for an exclusive driving training course. On the 400-hectare site, you will receive training on curves, winter climbs and descents and precise vehicle control on the handling course. Culinary delights such as dinner at the LumiLinna Snow Castle, a dog and reindeer sleigh ride and fascinating insights into how tough life is in the snow and ice are just some of the many highlights that make your winter tour so diverse and memorable. The fourth stage of the Mercedes-Benz Offroad World Tour takes in South America. There are not one but two routes this time. In 2017, the route starts in French Guiana and passes through Suriname, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Bolivia and Argentina before reaching Uruguay. Particularly fascinating aspects include the landscapes on the eastern coast, the endless green of the Amazon and passes in the Andes at altitudes of over 5,000 m. The second route, in 2018, starts in the port city of Montevideo on the Río de la Plata and ends in Ushuaia, the world s most southerly city. Between these two cities lie four weeks of adventure, taking you through La Pampa, wild passes and the Chilean rainforest before arriving at Tierra del Fuego.
