Targa New Zealand is a limited entry event; this is done to preserve the unique character that distinguishes Targa New Zealand from every other event in the world a 2:1 ratio of touring travel vs competition stage kilometers, access to the best roads on offer in the country, and a personal engagement with the locals and their community. Do you own a competition car? Well give us a call and we can provide you with advice on which competition category you are eligible for (there are 10) and comment on any unique preparation that may be necessary for your car, or advise you on the set-up of your vehicle. Just want to drive or navigate? We can set you up in one of our race prepped BMW s or Porsche s, or team you up with a competitor. We can take care of all your logistic needs as well transport, accommodation, Motorsport New Zealand regulations and licensing, etc., to ensure we make access to Targa New Zealand simple and straightforward.

For the first and (likely) last time, Targa New Zealand will start from Christchurch New Zealand!! Starting in Christchurch and finishing in Queenstown, New Zealand will be hosting Targa in some of the most iconic scenery it has to offer. 12 Targa NZ October 2014 South Island Itinerary: Labour Day Monday 27 th October 2014 Starting the event in Christchurch Scrutineering, Documentation, Drivers Briefing, Ceremonial start and Prologue day. Finishing at Ruapuna Race Track VIP International Guests evening function Tuesday 28 th October 2014 Depart Christchurch head south for lunch at Timaru International Motor Raceway Overnight stay in Dunedin Wednesday 29 th October 2014 Race and Tour through the spectacular Otago region returning to Dunedin for another night Thursday 30 th October 2014 Departing Dunedin to continue our journey south, end of day at Teretonga Park, Racetrack in Invercargill. Friday 31 st October 2014 Depart Invercargill travel through central south island towards Queenstown finishing at the brand new Highlands Motorsport Park. Saturday 1 st November 2014 Compete in New Zealand s adventure playground finishing with Queenstown s famous Coronek Peak Hill Climb. Podium celebration in central Queenstown. Sunday 2 nd November 2014 Prize giving award breakfast at Queenstown s iconic skyline gondola restaurant. Overlooking the spectacular infamous views of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables.
