Take a look at our extended drive overview on pages 32 and 33. The Raptor 4all is another innovation. This racing bike offers a high level of flexibility for racers as both the bottom bracket and seating positions are adaptable. But we don t want to give away too much in advance. Those who already have a PRO ACTIV adaptive bike or NJ1 e-assistant can couple the FREEWAY to the wheelchair via the adapter already in place. The FREEWAY makes your wheelchair an all-terrain vehicle. It just takes a few movements to attach the amazingly light FREEWAY (from 2.7 kg) to the wheelchair and you are off: on tracks, cobbles, snow or sand the FREEWAY makes movement easy! The wheelchair is still pushed forward as usual via the handrims, the caster wheels are slightly above the ground. The CROSSWAY is available in a 15 km/h (9.3 mph) version and in a 6 km/h (3.7 mph) version and reaches up to 40 km (25 mph). The 15 km/h (9.3 mph) version of the CROSSWAY is also available with MOT approval (Germany). The CROSSWAY is the electric traction device by PRO ACTIV. On extended tours with extra baggage, the CROSSWAY makes your journey a comfortable one. We put special emphasis on extremely easy steering. The handle bar can be swung up to ensure it's easy to get in. The CROSSWAY is available in a 15 km/h (9.3 mph) version and in a 6 km/h (3.7 mph) version and reaches up to 40 km (25 mph). The CROSSWAY has a forward and reverse gear. This allows for easy manoeuvring in tight spaces and high flexibility. As a simple traction device you can travel up to 6 km/h (3.75 mph). The NJ1 e-assistant is a wheelchair traction device with pure electric, electro-supported and manual movement functions. It always permits easy and independent forward motion with your own wheelchair. It is stable and has outstanding handling characteristics. A speed of up to 6 km/h (3.7 mph) can be reached via the thumb accelerator. To maintain or enhance your cardio function, you can pedal at the same time. This traction system is available with a back-pedal brake and/or chin switch which makes operation by tetraplegics particularly easy. There is also the option of a crank freewheel at the back. The cranks can be removed to manoeuvre back and forth, and you can comfortably reverse using the handrims. The NJ1 e-assistant can be equipped with various motors.
