5 Easy to install and maintain Hermes is easy to install and maintain and requires no special tools. We have a full range of BB Kits to cover all BSA BBs and the most popular Pressfit BB types. Your customers can choose to install Hermes to the bicycle of their choice, whether it is a cutting edge complete bike from a top manufacturer, or a full-custom build where every part is individually selected to create the perfect ride. Hermes itself is low maintenance, but it does require a regular inspection and certain parts will need to be replaced at least yearly and occasionally more frequently depending on use. Installation The innovative design can be installed on almost any bike frame, and embodies a lightweight yet powerful electric drive system. Hermes installation requires some knowledge of how to service a mountain bike and is best performed by experienced technical staff. 6 Quality & Materials Hand Crafted emtb Motors Paradox Kinetics motors are made in Greece, with woven carbon fiber composites, hand laid in-house, and molded at high pressures. We use high strength steel and aerospace grade aluminium treated with a custom anodization process. Our parts are precision machined to meet our standard of high quality and durability. Paradox Kinetics batteries are made with high quality cells from Sanyo. What s more, we use braided copper channels to deliver power efficiently and minimize energy loss to heat.

7 The Paradox Kinetics Experience Our motors are throttle controlled. The guiding principle in the design of the motor and control algorithm is that the bike remains a bike; the motor does not interfere with pedalling or vice-versa, rather we achieve a perfect synergy of rider and motor working together. 10 The Renthal 1XR chainring tooth profiling ensures the highest level of chain retention, in all conditions. Alternating 1.8/3.5mm width teeth interlock with the chain for ultimate security, with no loss of efficiency. The reduced frontal profile of the 3.5mm wide teeth increases mud clearance for the inner chain plates and extends longevity. Durability of the hard wearing 7075 T6 aluminium construction is maximised with a hard anodised surface treatment and mud evacuation grooves in the tooth bed.
