But a little misunderstanding occurred. The yrs old started with the and the 10 yrs started 30 sec later. The racing was still very good with a great group of kids. Junior racers and raced during same time period boys & girls raced together for separate awards. Clark tried to break away early, was away for some laps but the newly 60+ are strong riders and kept the pressure to catch Clark, in the end Clark had a better sprint finish. 3 The women raced together in their 35 min race. A great field of women that tested out esach others ability during the race. The field sprint was easily won by Skylar with a lot of speed. Gina, Beth, Christine and Marilyn battled in the field sprint with Gina having a bit more speed at the line. 5 A very strong group of 40+ racers bit on a good race. Breaks were attempted during the race but no one was able to stay clear of the field. The sprint finish was the whole field. Jones was able to crank up plenty of speed to win, Stephens had a small gap but the remaining field was strecthed curb to curb. Unfortuneatly the finish camera failed. 8 Category 1-2 and Category 3 raced together in their 45 min race. Witt, Theisen, Meshberg and Davenport broke away and lap many of the broken up field of riders, Witt wins the sprint for 1 st Cat 3. Springer took 1 st in Cat 1-2. 9 A good race, lots of break attempts, some fast speeds and good bike handling. John Cline slide out in the 4 th turn, a couple other riders took a tumble over John. We hope John recovers very well and quickly from the injuries. Expect he will be up and ready for track racing.
