4 WELCOME NZ PRO/AM Auckland 2019 The biggest and most best event of Fitness and Professional bodybuilding in New Zealand. NZ PRO/AM celebrates its 10th anniversary in Auckland, NZ on March 9th,2019. An official championship supported/affiliated by the IFBB Professional League The most anticipated event of the competitive calendar, will gather professional and amateur athletes showcasing the level of competition that only exists in the IFBB Professional League! A unique weekend in which athletes and the public enjoy and feel the adrenaline of authentic competition at its highest level of professionalism. "This championship open to all athletes worldwide."

5 LOCATION Auckland New Zealand Auckland: A city has been representative of tourism and leisure at all levels, for several decades, A vibrant atmosphere famous for its tourist environment of beautiful beaches with a wide range of accommodation, leisure, services and catering that make it an ideal destination, both to enjoy it during the holiday season and for all kinds of professional meetings such as the NZ PRO/AM event. Auckland, based around 2 large harbours, is a major city in the north of New Zealand s North Island. In the centre, the iconic Sky Tower has views of Viaduct Harbour, which is full of superyachts and lined with bars and cafes. Auckland Domain, the city s oldest park, is based around an extinct volcano and home to the formal Wintergardens. Near Downtown, Mission Bay Beach has a seaside promenade.

8 PARTICIPATION NZ PRO/AM SHOW 2019 IMPORTANT INFORMATION This Competition is open to all athletes worldwide. NZ PRO AM is an open contest. The number of athletes to participate is unlimited. PRO QUALIFIER CONTESTS do allow crossover into all classes. You can participate in up to 3 classes. REGISTERED ATHLETES NZ PRO/AM 2019 POSING MUSIC PRESENTATION The Official Athlete Registration will be conducted on Friday, 8th of March, YOU MUST BE REGISTERED ONLINE PRIOR VIA Friday, March 8th, p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - XTREME NUTRITION 119 Wellesley St. West AKL All 60sec posing music must be submitted via in MP3 format to ifbbproleaguenz@gmail.com. The posing music must also be at the start of the routine. Each competitor must affix his name and show in for easy identification. The use of profane, vulgar and offensive language is strictly prohibited in the posing music. * Remember that all athletes must come with their registration form that will receive when making the payment through the official website.

9 REGISTRATION FEE NZ PRO/AM MARCH 9th 19 The NZ PRO/AM 2019 Registration Fee of NZ$ 300 (NZ Dollar) for a single class entry and will have to be paid in advance online via our website. IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION Registrations payments made at check-in or before 6th March,2019 or at the registration will incur a late fee of $100 NZ dollars COMPETITION INFORMATION Backstage is strictly only for Athletes and Marshalls/Officials. 14 COMPETITION Rules MEN S BODYBUILDING NZ PRO/AM 19 Posing suits must be standard men s trunks with at least ½ rear coverage. Suits must meet acceptable standards of taste and decency. Thongs are prohibited. Posing suits must be one color. Fringe, wording, sparkle or fluorescents is prohibited. Competitors must not alter the fit of the posing suit by hiking it up in the back or by pulling up the sides during Front and Rear Lat Spreads. The following is prohibited while onstage: a. Props b. Chewing gum c. Moon Pose (any competitor performing this pose will be disqualified) d. Lying on the stage. e. Bumping and shoving (the first and second person involved will be disqualified). MANDATORY POSES: a. Front Double Biceps b. Front Lat Spread c. Side Chest d. Back Double Biceps e. Back Lat Spread f. Side Triceps g. Abdominals and Thighs Competitor numbers must be worn on the left side of the posing suit during the Judging and Finals. *Judges will score competitors according to the total package, which is a balance of size, symmetry and muscularity. 15 MEN S CLASSIC PHYSIQUE NZ PRO/AM 19 Competitors are required to wear posing shorts (see image below). Board shorts or bodybuilding posing trunks are prohibited. Competitors are required to wear the same type of cut and all shorts that are worn in competition must be black. * The Judging is scored 100% and will consist of comparisons of the quarter turns and the following 5 mandatory poses: MANDATORY POSES: a. Front Double Biceps b. Front Lat Spread c. Side Chest d. Back Double Biceps e. Back Lat Spread f. Side Triceps g. Abdominals and Thighs LINK TO IFBBPRO Qualifier RULES: Since the inception of the Men s Classic Physique division two years ago, the standard to wear was the Black Classic Physique Shorts. Over time we ve heard you, the competitors, with suggestions and have previously followed through by both adding another height division from three to four and increasing the allowable weights for your height in both the NPC and IFBB Professional League.Probably the suggestion we ve heard the most though is competitors wanting to compete in more traditional posing trunks that don t cover the top of the thighs and hamstrings. Well you wanted Classic and now you are going to get Classic! Starting January 1, 2019, ALL Men s Classic Physique competitors, both IFBB Pro and NPC, will be competing in Classic Physique Posing Trunks! Competitors are required to wear the same type of cut and all Classic Physique Posing Trunks that are worn in competition must be black and no less than 4-1/2 Inches on the sides/hips. 16 MEN S PHYSIQUE NZ PRO/AM 19 ATTIRE 1, 2. Competitors compete in Board Shorts. The shorts must be above the knee in length and can be 1 below the belly button. ONSTAGE Competitor numbers must be worn on the left side of the shorts at all times while onstage. The Moon Pose is prohibited. Gymnastic moves are prohibited. MUSCULARITY AND BODY CONDITION Judges will be looking for fit competitors who display proper shape and symmetry combined with muscularity and overall condition. This is not a bodybuilding contest so extreme muscularity should be marked down. STAGE PRESENCE AND PERSONALITY Judges are looking for the competitor with the best stage presence and poise who can successfully convey his personality to the audience. 17 << WOMEN S BIKINI NZ PRO/AM 19 ATTIRE 1, Competitors compete in a two-piece suit. The bottom of the suit must be v-shaped. Thongs are prohibited. Competitors can compete in an off-the-rack suit. All suits must meet acceptable standards of taste and decency.( as per images) 2. Competitors must wear high heels. ( no platform up to 5in in height and 1cm at the front- as per images) 3. Competitors may wear jewellery. PRESENTATION Competitor numbers must be worn on the left side of the suit bottom at all times while onstage. Each competitor, in numerical order, walks onstage and performs their Model Walk (personal preference). The Model Walk is described as follows: Walk to the center of the stage, stop and do a front stance, then a full turn and do a back stance, then turn to the front again and face the judges. Length of time allowed is 30 seconds. JUDGING AND SCORE The Presentation and Comparisons are scored 100% using the following criteria: 1. Balance and shape 2. 18 WOMEN S PHYSIQUE NZ PRO/AM 19 1, Competitors compete in a two-piece bikini. The bikini bottom must be v-shaped. Thongs are prohibited.( Please see images on bikini rules) The bikini must meet acceptable standards of taste and decency. Competitors can compete in an off-the-rack bikini. The bikini does not have to be solid in colour Competitor numbers must be worn on the left side of the bikini bottom at all times while onstage. Competitors compete barefoot. The Moon Pose is prohibited. Lying on the stage is prohibited. Gymnastic moves are prohibited. MANDATORY POSES: a. Front double biceps/open hands (no flat footed full front pose some sort of front twisting pose). b. Back double biceps/open hands. c. Side triceps with leg extended. d. ATTIRE Competitors may dress as they deem appropriate to perform their fitness routines, except that: Fitness routine attire must meet acceptable standards of taste and decency. Thongs are prohibited. 2. Athletic footwear may be worn at the discretion of the competitor MUSIC Routine music must be sent via to ifbbproleaguenz@gmail.com Routine music must not contain vulgar lyrics. Competitors using music containing vulgar lyrics will be disqualified. The fitness routine is scored 100% based on the following criteria: Strength: The amount and types of strength moves. The degree of difficulty of these moves. The ease and correctness of the moves. Flexibility: The number and types of flexibility moves. The degree of difficulty of these moves. The ease and correctness of the moves. Cardiovascular: The tempo of the routine. 21 JUDGES The judging panel is determined by the IFBB Professional League. VISAS Please check below visa information via immigration NZ link below To find out if your country qualifies for visa waiver if not you could ask for an Invitation letter From us. The invitation letter does not mean you are granted your visa. IFBB Professional League NZ are not responsible of attendant visas. An athlete, who requested and received an invitation from the IFBB Professional League NZ Head Office for visa purposes and used this visa to unlawful stay in the host country or any other country, will be subjected to the disciplinary proceedings and measures. VISA request sent to: USEFUL INFORMATION MEDIA ACCREDITATION All media coverage is exclusive to NZIFBB. CAMERA/VIDEOTAPE EQUIPMENT Camera and/or videotape equipment shall be strictly prohibited throughhout event and is exclusive IFBB Professional League-authorized media persons and, in any event, these devices shall be strictly prohibited CURRENCY The national currency in New Zealand is New Zealand Dollar.
